What's the best way of ripping audio from a DVD?

I've got a concert DVD and I'd like to rip the tracks to mp3 and put them on my iRiver,

Best program?

I tried that program from imTOO but it took ages i.e. the length of time to sit and record the DVD through line-in directly on my iRiver, and the quality wasn't great. Even though I ripped them at 192kbps.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't know which plugins I may have installed to make this capable, or if it's just ready out of box, but I can just drag DVD VOB files into Goldwave and the audio is there for the saving.

So you could theoretically rip a DVD with DVD Decrypter, drag the VOBs into Goldwave, save each file as a WAV, and piece together/crop things.

DVD2AVI will separate the audio stream as a WAV, if you tell it to. Just load the VOB, do the settings, and hit F4. It will output a d2v file and a wav (you need to add the .wav file extension).
