The album was just average and the label didnt do much promotion. I dont think Rocky Horror Picture Show did any good for her considering that one got panned badly but she did a good job at her part tbh. Her song for Spy also shits on Skyfall and the Sam Smith 007 track.

As a huge Nintendo fan I would love if they went third party. We love them for their games, not their hardware. And lately, the latter has become a burden on the former.

Not sure I agree with this. Nintendo's specialty is working with fixed hardware, it's what allows their games to be so polished and so suited to their platform.
If they went third party I have zero doubt there would be a drop in quality.

I think this idea is complete and utter bullshit. The reason why anyone gets any console is because of the games. If you're a fan of Nintendo's games, you get their systems. Same for any other console. I mean, you're over here wanting to get a PS4 but still need advice on what games to get for it, but on the other hand stating that you're a fan of Nintendo's games but don't want to get the console? What kind of madness is that.

First party Nintendo is actual trash outside of Zelda so...

Not really a "main source of income" when you sell your consoles at a loss...and then it consistently underperforms (both financially and from a tech perspective).
Outside of losing their R&D teams for production on hardware, A 3rd party Nintendo would probably need to expand their current software teams in order to reach the millions upon millions of new gamers they would be providing content to on Steam, Mobile, PS4, etc.
With this newfound money, Nintendo would have the funding to continue doing what many other 3rd party developers do... release new IPs and experimental titles: beginning with, maybe, something for adults.
Keeping this post on topic... I would really like them to hire a pop girl to do commercials again.

The DS and 3DS on the other hand have been god-like gaming systems with a large amount of amazing games.
Go 3rd party and keep the handhelds.

I always thought that Nintendo were actually the only ones that don't sell systems at a loss? Also, I wasn't talking only about the consoles sold, but also all the money they get from licensing from other companies that release software on their systems, both physical and digital; they would lose all that revenue also.
3rd party Nintendo would mean, Mario, Zelda Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem with yearly releases, paid DLC, microtransactions, shoehorned multiplayer. We would probably not see some of this 2nd tier IPs like Pikmin, Metroid, Star Fox, Donkey Kong. Also, say goodbye to risky fundings of games like Bayonetta, W101, Beyond Good&Evil, etc
And let's not talk of leaving Sony really close to a monopoly situation in the dedicated gaming market, which would put arrogant Sony in a dangerous position, allowing them do whatever the hell they want in terms of pricing and licensing, since there won't be viable alternatives.
Nintendo being a first party is something good for the industry in general.
And to follow the topic, yesss, I recently saw again the Beyonce ads of Rhythm Paradise for DS. One of my faves playing one of my fave games, so good.
I can get behind this, maybe? Although I think the Switch is a handheld with the option of using it as a home console, independently of what they are selling it as in their marketing.
That is correct. Unlike Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo don't sell their systems at a loss. Even the cheaper revisions they usually release later on are made in such way they don't lose any money.
I would also love Nintendo not to go out of the console race the way Sega did. The more competition, the better, honestly.
At this very moment Switch doesn't seem like it'll make a huge impact. Not yet. We'll see when the Mario is released, as well as other games, but for now...

Well hello hello I'm back! First things first, Ed Sheeran came and was great, love "Shape of You". Not a huge of fan of "Castle on the Hill." I also am liking the new Chainsmokers song "Paris." And if anybody wants to listen to new Halsey, she does have a song on the new 50 Shades album, and it's okay. Meanwhile apparently Nicki Minaji & Nick Jonas also have a song collab on the new 50 Shades. Finally "Bad and Bougee" is only good for a few seconds so let's hope that drops fast.

Please, tell us all how your bright, original ideas can save Nintendo from being doomed even though you're just going to give them money anyways and continue to complain while enjoying what they put out. Anyway, the great irony is that it is mostly unoriginal ideas which people suggest Nintendo should follow in order to pull themselves out of the ditch they created. You know... modern tech with modern features to reach a modern audience. You do not need a degree in common sense to have it.
This notion that just because you purchase something you shouldn't critique it is very fanboy... you're more rational than that. When I play my PS4 I do not have to wish I could stream for my friends, or play games that look and run smoother... because the console has those capabilities already. With the Wii U, though? And apparently with the Switch as well. But guess what... if Nintendo games were on the PS4, I would be able to stream them. And they would look and run smoother.
YKN's post is ridiculous, but that's just him being a consistently horrible poster. I'd rather not be grouped.
And for the record, I will not be purchasing a Switch any time soon. There is no incentive. x
