Hell yes. Cain is the shit! My wife is French, actually, so even she appreciated his awesomeness.
As a Frenchman myself, I must say that I really liked Cain. With that said, I would also have liked a "real" French character.

Although he had very little presence in the game, I found the accent used for Jean to be pretty awful and inaccurate. He didn't really sound French at all.
Huh... that seems... well, I want to say out of character, but I guess not now that I think about it. Doeshim?Bo get a death scene when you kill
Yes, butI think it's the exact same scene you get if he dies protecting Faye. The way they get around that is that the scene works both ways because Dan says "I can't believe you did that" and he goes "Yeah, pretty dumb eh? At least I won't have a price on my head." which, depending on what happened before this, either implies he didn't want to betray the military, or that after betraying the military he didn't want to get out of this alive to live with it.
Huh, I can't believe they made that work. Although I'm not sure how I would have taken it if I had seen that scene in the context as described.
What sells it imo, is that if he betrays you, the first fight with the mech grunts plays out with Big Bo taunting you and stuff throughout the battle, which you can also reply to, like in the Faye battle and the final battle.
In the "sacrifice" ending, it's like two old friends getting together one last time. The fact that he just betrays you and then suddenly you forgive him is a bit weird. I mean, I know that's ALSO a cliche and god knows that it happens in the Yakuza games all the time, so maybe it's just a case of seeing one first and having that cloud how I receive the scene.

finished the game on Survivor
got theending. Didn't seebetrayal? If the trust level is high enough,Cain, Shindo or Kurosawa any more after they supposedly died or just left the scene. Rachel and Bo died in the final battle.will they make an appearance in the end?
It's like Mass Effect how many buddiescan you keep alive!

So many positive comments on this game. Just like Vanquish, I believe this will be an excellent shooter that's going to be overlooked.
I did end up grabbing this yesterday and played for a couple of hours yesterday. So far, I'm very much enjoying it. It's really a refreshing take (or satire) of the whole bro-shooter genre. There's certainly some jankiness in spots but overall, it's a great looking and fun romp so far! It should be an interesting juxtaposition playing this while going through ME3 later this week.
It appears thatYes, although for Shindo, I had his trust maxed out and he didn't return, I assume there is no difference unless EVERYONE is maxed out (I'll try that out at some point). Depending on your trust levels either Rachel, Bo, or Cain take the blow for Faye.
It appears thatvery high trust ending is actually the Cain returning ending, at least according to someone who tested it on GameFaqs.
I can't confirm that unfortunately... and I don't feel like playing the third game to try it. lolHrm...so there would be no difference (like Shindo making a cameo or something) if I maxed out the trust for all characters other than trophies/achievements?
Well, sadly, the games just sell horrible in UK. Not just horrible - amazingly horrible :/
It won't just be UK.
Well, at least the game sells better than Vanquish... in Japan...
Also, we didn't have GameTrailers or Gamespot reviews yet, but SEGA send a press copy to this guy?
I would love a revolvotech figure of Cain, I just love the froggy robot!
I watched a review from CVG and i noticed tons of scenes in the game i never seen in my play-through. I wonder if there are more scenes in the game that is changed depending on the trust level. Even more scenes are in this review that i never seen on my playthrough....oh man this game is awesome.

It's just stuff from the announcement trailer way back. Not part of the game.
Uhhhhh... you need to play the game again.A sequel needs to happen withDan and Faye being hunted down by a new rust crew. Bring back Cain too! They never showed him again after he was hacked.
Playing the Binary domain demo and the mass effect 3 demo just only showed me how the mass effect 3 demo controls felt so dated and stiff.
These days if a game doesn't have a number in the title, it seems like it's unfortunately ignored.Yup
But the ME3 thread is already over a hundred pages T___T

holler if you're dead!
Let the good times roll.
Danny boy! A freaking star man!
That was sweeeeeet!
Beat the game last night. Enjoyed it pretty much all the way.
The huge glaring inconsistency when playing was (end game spoilers)I wasn't able to save Bo from the Cerberus......but he was right there after I blew up the satellite dish.
Maybe will get some multi in sometime soon.
It's not an inconsistency. The event is there to give you a final chance to boost Big Bo's Trust before the last chapter. It doesn't determine if he lives or dies.
It is, but I don't really think these two games will be all that comparable.Agree with the gameplay in the demo of this being so much better than ME3. Kind of makes me want to play through ME3 first, heh.

As much as I love Binary Domain, it's a more focused, smaller type of game that deals entirely with combat (which isn't a bad thing at all).
I actually think they COULD have pulled off more of a Mass Effect style experience based on their past works along with this one.
