After all this time I still haven't played Bioshock 2. Have it in my Steam account since launch... waiting... to... be... played.

Nice.

I actually never played the Burial at Sea DLC's which most people say are really good. Seems like the a good opportunity to do so

BioShock Infinite is terrible. Play the first one, it's decent.
Its' the only one not fucked by Blind Squirel in the collection, tho

Since they havent touched it at all

For the other 2, I highly recomend playing them on their original form.

The "remaster" has a bunch of missing visual effects, changes made to the artstyle, botched audio quality and etc.

They go on sale for peanuts these days

C'mon man what the heck. Give me something I don't own yet. Dying light platinum edition would be nice.
Since they gave away GTAV one time, maybe they can do the same with RDR2. Noticing both games given away were from take2 so maybe they are saving the best for last.

Infinite is the only really good one.

the first one is a slow shooter that wears the dead skin of an immersive sim to hide its shallowness.

the second one is basically the same but again, and with a worse atmosphere.

Infinite is a good shooter that doesn't try to hide it's only a shooter. but it has good gunplay and fun abilities... the first 2 games have worse gunplay.

so if you want to pretend you are playing an RPG but are in reality just playing a mediocre shooter then play the first game... if you actually want to play a good shooter play Infinite

Infinite a good shooter? In what universe?

Yes, the first one is not a good shooter neither it's an immersive sim but the story and setting is quite unique and compelling.

If you want to play a good shooter go play Doom. If you want to play a good immersive sim go play Prey.

On a side note Bioshock is one of the most overrated franchises in gaming.

Bioshock needs to be in a Hall of gaming fame if its not already.

If Epic store could just fix the library list so its fast and not pulling thumbnails from the web it would speed it up and make it not horrible.
If they could do this one little thing for me then I would spend more time using them.
Browsing my list of games in my Epic library is currently a oddly slow endeavor.

Already owned it on Steam and Xbox and Switch and PlayStation but... okay I'll take it for free.

Compared to most people I guess, *I HIGHLY RECOMMEND* you play the remasters for Bioshock 1 and 2. They improve the visuals quite a lot, Bioshock 1 gets a lot of features on PC which were previous console exclusive and they run better.

By default, they don't have EAX available, but it was always poorly implemented IMO. Sound reverberated like you were constantly in a cave, lol. And the "lack in visuals" people complained about was basically some early Unreal 3 wet looking surfaces now being a different material, in the very 2 minutes of the game and nowhere else. Aside from that both games look significantly better in the Remaster.

I played Bioshock remaster last year since I got it for free on steam at some point, having owned the original since release. Seemed perfectly fine to me. Wouldn't turn my nose up at it if you have never played the game before.

Is there anywhere these games aren't free?

They were $9 a couple of months ago on Xbox. Got 'em there.

Adding the EGS versions to library as well.

They're great game.s

Bioshock always reminds me of the 360 glory days. The work MS was doing getting high quality third party exclusives was plain crazy.
Mass Effect
Bioshock
Dead Space
Lost Plant
Dead Rising.

EA and Capcom going balls out for Xbox. How the world has changed.
That's why I'm glad to see more studio acquisitions by both Sony and Microsoft. The more unique game experiences on both consoles the better.

Yeah, the whole Bioshock Collection is ten bucks when it's on sale on the Xbox, but ten bucks PER GAME when it's on sale on PSN :/

I might actually be able to finish the game for once. I absolutely hate the controls on controller. I imagine that it is way easier to get a grip of them on PC.

I grabbed another free game from Epic Games Store. I'm one step closer to bankrupting them!
You actually help them by having an account and logging in to claim the free games. You're now an "active user" that they can use to misrepresent their popularity to publishers and investors.

Me taking a free game every single week and spending nothing on their products is hurting them far more than the one active user is helping them.
