If you played Jiggies in Time or The Bear Waker (Banjo Kazooie x The Wind Waker Outset Island) you'll know the work of Kurko mods, who has spent what is now years making new games in the Banjo Kazooie universe and within the confines of the Banjo Kazooie games for N64 and today he released (early access) BK Nostalgia 64. It's basically a love letter to every popular Nintendo franchise from the N64 all packed into a full length Banjo Kazooie platformer in all the best ways possible. If you are a N64 fan or a Banjo fan def one I wouldn't miss

Works on real hardware with a flash cart, MiSTer FPGA N64 core and Ares emulation (and probably more but I only tested Ares)

99 new Jiggies to collect!

Looks very nice! Dude sure put a lot of love into this.

I have to make a mental note to download this and put it on the everdrive to check it out. Thanks OP!

I'm almost finished this, and it's extremely well put together. 100% scratches the N64 platformer collectathon itch. Highly recommended.

From what I see, most (nearly all?) of these Banjo mods use Banjo-Kazooie assets. I played through Tooie like 20 years after I played through Kazooie as a kid and while I don't love the themes of the worlds in Tooie as much as I like the world themes in Kazooie, I think I prefer Tooie to Kazooie. The backtracking can be excessive, but I like some backtracking. I like the interconnected feel of the worlds and I enjoy the expanded hub world over Kazooie's. Tooie can seem a bit mean and cynical, but I do like the darker tone. The Aztec Temple, Lagoon, Witchyworld, and Hailfire Peaks are my favorite worlds in the game. I hear good things about Nuts and Bolts even though it isn't the sequel people want and I intend on getting to it soon.
