Online shopping sales surge 26% on Black Friday
Research firm comScore reported on Sunday that e-commerce spending jumped 26 percent on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, compared with the same day a year ago. ComScore reported $816 million in online sales for the day, up from $648 million.

The 26 percent growth rate for online sales compares with a 7 percent retail sales increase reported for Black Friday by ShopperTrak, which gathers data from individual stores and shopping malls. At $11.4 billion, the brick-and-mortar sales total still dwarfs the online total.

ComScore said 50 million Americans visited online retail sites on Black Friday, up 35 percent from a year ago. Each of the top five retail sites reported double-digit gains in visitors, in percentage terms, led by top retail site Amazon. Walmart ranked second, followed by Best Buy, Target and Apple.

Next up is Cyber Monday, when many online retailers run promotions for the first business day of the week following Thanksgiving. Cyber Monday sales topped $1 billion last year, making it the heaviest day of online spending ever. ComScore's Fulgoni expects another record will be set this year.

Wow, nice bomba on the PS+.

Shame I barely turn my PS3 on nowadays.

I'm biting the bullet and just buying MGS HD on the 360 and sacrificing my three platinums. :/ Hopefully it's still $35 tomorrow. And hopefully the 3 months of XBL is still 12 tomorrow and I'll snag one of those.
 
Is the Wii doing really good or sold out? Was looking online for one to gift, you know those 150 Skyward bundles, but can't find them.

Amazon has them more expensive than usual.

Amazon has not had wii's or 3d's in stock for the last two weeks. I don't know if they are having a dispute with Nintendo or if they are holding them for a massive Cyber Monday sale.

The ones that are higher prices are third party sellers.

Also, the SS bundle was just at Target for the first part of last week.
 
FYI on the Target deal.

I wouldn't even waste my time trying to price match the deal at Walmart or Best Buy. The Walmart computers are unable to do it, and Best Buy will just flat out refuse. Obviously YMMv, but I tried two separate Best Buys and Walmarts with no luck.

What makes this amusing in retrospective is that i remeber amazon selling the Mario Kart bundle for 135 plus a 20 gift card. I was all so playing it cool thinking it was too early to buy the gifts or that a similar or better price would pop out.

The target one was sweet deal but sadly not available online.
 
Scored on the PS+ cards! Didn't think I was going to get it but eventually the guy did it cuz he couldn't confirm it with anyone. Now I wish I got more than 3. Can't believe this deal isn't on SlickDeals or CAG.

It was available all weekend through the Microsoft Store website, but it looks like it may have finally sold out. Amazon will be selling it for that price at some point (not sure when this week, probably tomorrow), but it will most likely be a lightning deal that gets 100% claimed in three seconds.

It's been on CAG for hours and on Slickdeals since 8AM. First seen on SD though

Yeah... it's fucking weird. I want a Wii now for SS but refuse to buy the non backwards compatible ones. I'm going to hope for some kind of sale soon... or at least back to 149 MSRP.

II had to search the damn store. The ads are not infront of the entrance. I luckily found one in a abandoned cart. It was laying on the bottom. I took it and was glad it was today's ad.

So if you are trying, get your own. I actually went to a normal cashier. The old lady was having an issue so a younger girl took me to customer service. Then she asked another 2 people about it. No one had any idea of this so they were shocked due to the price difference. So they told me to ring me up and then one of them asked who's ad it was. I proudly said mine. (No way in hell I was gonna say I found it instore, ha!)

Anyways I get the feeling they were pulled and all the employees probably have been told not to sell them at that price.

Just realized the 4 Crash Bandicoot games are still free on PS+. I was gonna wait on activating but mind as well use it now!
 
Will Vanquish orders go through if you order but the page says shipping not available? Looks like you can just force an order through the system

I'm asking since I dont want to buy it, want to tell a friend about it

I think it only says that because the shipping is free and apparently that does not compute for the online ordering system. lol

You'll find that out when you continue to the "place your order" screen.
 
Yeah I would buy a PS+ card from someone for $20. It would be awfully nice of you guys to share the love. =) (I'm in South Korea and can't get any of the instore deals =/)
 
How are you forcing through Vanquish? At checkout it has Shipping greyed out for me, and no stores in the area have it available, so I have no delivery options available at all.
