PlayStation’s Black Friday Deals kick off November 22

Wait, how do you buy the subscription with reduced price when you're already a subscriber?
For me they're all regular price...
I have PS+ essential which runs out in middle of December and I'm not seeing a discount for people who already have the sub.
Don't know what to say. Was the same for me previous years as well. I just went to the plus section on the mobile app and the price is with the 30% discount. Should be the same if I did it through my PS5. I'm in Australia though, so don't know if its a regional thing.

Why would games with a history on PlayStation not sell well? All games in the Drakengard series were PlayStation exclusive (besides I believe a mobile port of one of them), the original Nier was on PS3, and Automata was console exclusive for a period of time.

Japanese games are more popular on PlayStation then anything else most of the time.
Yeah, I know. I am just happy to see that It has legs. Other games similar to NieR werent that lucky.

I went ahead and resubbed to PSN+ premium while it is discounted. I can find enough value to offset costs but the main reason I resubbed was for the cloud-fucking-saves. I hate that I am part of the problem and supporting this junk.

My PS Premium expires in 4 years in October. I'll probably just let it lapse for a month and rejoin with a BF sale.

PS Store: Baldur's Gate 3 - 20% off - Now 55.99 EUR!

Steam: Baldur's Gate 3 - 0% off - Regular 59.99 EUR!

At least it's a singleplayer game, so you don't need a PS+ sub (33% off - Now 100 EUR!) to play it.

Shame.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Either I start seeing a discount option after my current Plus lapses tomorrow and renew, or this is it for my PS+ tenure for the foreseeable future.

I have 85€ sitting on my PSN account, but 60€ (-25% from 80€) for Stellar Blade + 10€ for the Nier DLC still seems fairly much tbh.
What do you guys think?

Got Lego Star Wars Galaxy Edition for a steal and waiting for my payday to grab Mass Effect.
I'm a sucker for Lego Star Wars, never played the newest one and it's a great game.

And i never got far in Mass Effect and never played it's sequels so that will be a first for me

Update on my last post, as soon as my sub expired, getting the discounted renewal message now.

To bite or not to bite, Premium is just $10 more than Extra, the deal is no doubt very tempting. 🤔

I know it’s not a BF deal but PS Stars currency is back up. I saw an article on Push Square and checked my app and it was back.

Game redemption is still hit or miss for me though because Shadows of the Damned still just takes me to a buy screen versus redeem.

Might help some people out with the sales.

I might jump on Space Marine on PS5 versus PC because I have enough for $35 in rewards.

- It's a very good looking game (especially now with the pro patch)

- It's pretty long so you'll get your money's worth (40 hours)

- It plays really well

- The DLC, for me, isn't worth it but your mileage may vary if you're a Nier fan.

The game doesn't do anything new/doesn't reinvent the wheel but, what it does it does really well.

Now that the Portal has been fixed (Hz mismatch stutter), I think it would be a great addition to your whole setup since you'll also be taking advantage of your Premium sub with the newly introduced Cloud streaming option - I've seen used ones go for as low as 120 Eurodollars 😉

i got this game during the BF2024 sale

Dragon Quest Builders 2 : Complete pack aka Deluxe Edition
the building and farming mechanics can last me for a long time

still considering getting Onee chanbara origin deluxe edition but there will be other sale after Dec 2nd and Rigged Awards Sale near to Dec 13th

I ordered Persona 3 Reload for $25 from Amazon
I'm debating getting Mortal Kombat 1 and maybe Khaos Reigns, I want to know if that's all of the DLC or not though.

If I game share with my brother in law and he has Cyberpunk 2077 could I just buy the expansion and play it or would I need to buy the complete edition?

I have repurchased a portal recently. I am not much on streaming games directly as I have been from local to the portal but at least it is now an option. At home, I tested streaming from PSN and had good luck. I will need to try it from work to see if my hot spot can provide a decent enough experience.

Man PSVR2 is such a deal, going to have to nab it. I got PSVR1 for $399 and it didn't have a camera or motion controllers. With all of those it was $520+tax. The headset was good for 2016 but not the controllers. This offers so much better tech compared to the first, even with all of the advancements from 2016.

BOPSVI is now 15% off in some regions (Europe/Argentina) until 03/12

It was previously -15% for one day only in Japan...

I managed to get a open box one from Best Buy for $290 after tax and the code for Horizon was even unscratched/unredeemed 😮 just a crazy good deal

So, I haven't subscribed to PS+ in years and figured I would to play GT7 and Demon's Souls online, but I see they no longer make the cards you could buy at retailers? Back then, I used to wait for the holidays to buy the 12 months card at half price, but it doesn't seem to be sold anywhere anymore.

I see that PlayStation is running a sale on their official website, but it's a meagre 20% for the Essential plan, 25% for the Extra, and 30% for the Premium. Are there still places where they sell PS+ at half price or is that dead?

To answer my own question from earlier I was able to buy the DLC and use it on the Cyberpunk game that I game share with my brother in law.

I also bought Mortal Kombat 1. I enjoy the kampaigns.

The new meta is to buy PSN wallet gift card at 14-17% off depending on region

In the US, Dollar store general appears to do -20% for 10$x3 cards

This.

Some reputable sites include Eneba, Instant gaming and Driffle.

Personally, I've been using Instant gaming for the past 2 years and not once I had a problem with invalid codes, late delivery or what have you, delivery is - literally - instant, you put your delivery email, make the payment and after a couple of seconds you have your code delivered, plus, it's got the best prices compared to the other 2.
