I just built in new pc but I need to get a video card. I want something out of the nvidia 600 line so ill be keeping my eyes open.

Hoping to build a new PC this year.

I'll be having my eye on NewEgg, Microcenter, and Tiger Direct.

My rule of thumb has always been don't buy things that I didn't want before. I make a list of things I want, if it is on sale, great. I have been burned in the past for buying things just because they are on sale and end up never using it.

Should I go for a 360, a Lumia 920, or should I just save up my money for now? Decisions decisions
Why are you wanting a 360 this late in the cycle? I would save your money in terms of games consoles, since next gen is right around the corner.

This is a smart policy. Think I'll try it myself.

My partner and I have made it a yearly thing to do BF. We stay up all night on Thanksgiving and go out around 3. We usually have a couple things on our lists, but last year we scored most of the big stuff we were after for years. This year we're looking for a food processor, maybe some new sheets, and I'd maybe like to score a DSLR, but I'm guessing that'll be a no go.

My only objective this year is to get a 2+ TB HDD for pre-flood prices. Don't let me down, Amazon/Newegg. Oh, and my digital camera died recently so I suppose there's that, although I expect no difficulty in getting a good deal on one somewhere.

I also expect Gamestop to have some kind of exclusive and limited 3DS XL design that's just going to make me regret even more that I bought my 3DS days before the redesign was revealed.

Thanks to Amazon charging sales tax in CA as well as Best Buy pricematching this year... Yep, Black Friday is a no brainer. I only partook in Cyber Monday when I missed out on BF stuff anyways.

Will be picking up most of the blu-rays I purposely missed during the year (and some accidental ones like Cinderella) and hitting up my usual:

Best Buy
Target
Walmart
Fry's Electronics
...and wherever else my friends and I decide to go.

ill look out for deals but not really participating. did it once like 2 years ago and it was really stressful and annoying and i didnt really get much out of it.

Last year I got a 3TB External HDD for $99.99 from Best Buy

Nice, so I should expect that or better, then. It's only this year that I'm finally feeling the pinch on space so I'll be paying close attention to the ads. I should also probably look into upgrading my PS3 HDD, PS+ wiped out the entirety of my 250GB.

Maybe I should look into a backup laptop in case this one dies on me, too.

Most stores stopped doing that stupid early bird at the break of dawn bullshit

Most open up on Thanksgiving Day @12AM (Midnight, Friday Morning) that night
Some even earlier @10PM

Yep. Old Navy & Toys R Us were selling stuff at 9pm last year if I recall.

Thanksgiving/BF is like the only time I will stay up for 24 hrs or so... It's actually fun when you have a group of friends/family to go with.

Amazon Gold Box deals are the best. I hope they have Homeland Season 1 on Blu-Ray for like $20. That would be great.

I'm looking to replace the slimline PC I hastily bought this summer because my old comp died a horrible death on me. Gonna keep my out for any juicy deals although I'd really like to get one ASAP.

I've had a 360 since '06, but it's at my parents' place in Paris and I'm in NY right now. I just really want to play Halo 4 haha.

My launch PS3 started acting up yesterday. I mostly use it to watch media but if I find a good price online on Black Friday I'll pick one up.

I don't really intend on buying spending that much this year. Definitely getting NFS: Most Wanted and Paper Mario for games. Then all the blu-rays I missed out on over the year. But yeah, that's about it. I love going out. The environment is great as long as you go with friends/family.

Due to finances, I haven't been able to participate in Black Friday extensively for about ten years.

I just got a huge bonus from my new job, and the sales can't come fast enough. I'm shopping for a new TV, a tablet, and GAEMS, LOTS OF GAEMS

Bring it on.

last year was my first

my brother and i were tasked with a list and we got everything on the list and everything we wanted as well

personally, i got the $200 PS3 LBP/Ratchet Bundle and a $30 BF3 LE for PS3

i dunno if there will be a repeat, but it was hectic and fun

My goal:

Mad Men Season 5 Blu Ray ($9.99 Amazon - It's been a tradition for a few years now)
2x 256GB Samsung SSD's (hoping for $149.99 or less)

I'll end up buying random other shit but those are what I'm really going to be looking for.

I'll be working on Black Friday and I'm sure that day will be hell for me. Depending on which shift I'm assigned to, I may be able to get something of value. Not sure what. A laptop would be cool. I'll definitely take advantage of Cyber Monday, though.

All my money is going to fixing my car and paying bills. I have a 100 dollar limit for my son and the g/f. That sounds really cheap to some of y'all but to me that's a lot lol.
