Does anyone here use a smaller HDTV as a computer monitor? I'm going to build a new computer and the price between monitors and TVs for the 22-24inch range is almost negligible. I'd buy a monitor but I want to be able to watch OTA HD and occasionally play a Wii/PS2

Walmart has a shitty Seiki 1080p TV for 130 and I was thinking of biting
A lot of these cheap TVs have non-negligible amounts of lag.

Only 7:30 on West Coast. I hope I can still get some movies from Best Buy. Also looking for new headphones to use for my iPhone/Vita. Anyone see any good deals at Bb/Target/Wal-Mart/etc.?

So far I've only bought Kotor2 on Steam, and a Logitech harmony. Slow got me this year. Might head to target in a bit. The one by or house wasn't packed at all.

After an hour and 30 mins, I managed to get God of war, ratchet and clank, and the sly collection for 40$ plus tax. Definitely worth it :D

I've been really good this year about not going overboard

PS 3D display- $99.99
Amazing Spiderman 3D bluray - $19.99
Dance Central 3- $24.99

not sure what my wife is going to find soooo, my budget could still get fucked in the end.

Just got the confirmation message, the Killzone Trilogy/DS3 bundle shipped out.

Feels good, man. I should get everything next week.

Went to Walmart and got a Wii. Oddly enough, it didn't get crowded until after 8pm.

Now to Best Buy. I'm hoping to just find the Sims 3 and Just Dance 3 for $8 each.

Came in for a similar question, looking for a tv or monitor with a low response time, good for music games. Any good deals out there?

Walmart was crazy.

I got Tintin and Fight Club Blu Rays Plus the Rachet collection.

I'm hopfully gonna get the vita amazon deal tomorrow.

Are there any other vita games on sale? didn't see any at walmart

I'd kill for the PS3 3d display at that price. Any change of the PS3 3d display coming back?

At Target. The line to checkout is about an hour, wrapped around the entire store. Got Arkham City for $15, Lego LOTR for $35, a bunch of Harry Potter blurays for like $6 each. Place is nuts. Video game area is like a war zone.

$3-7 Blu Rays on Amazon hit me bad. There goes another $110

Also what exact time is the Bond 50 going on lightning sale on Saturday?

Have no clue. I was in this thread at 1:45 am this morning when it first went live and snagged it then. I knew it wouldn't last through the day. I have heard that it comes and goes in and out of stock so check back frequently if you really want it. Also I think it is in store as well, so you can check your local bestbuy. People were reporting seeing giant stacks of them at retail yesterday.

Been looking for a good price on a backup drive for my desktop so I jumped on that 2TB HDD for $69 on Amazon, but that's all I've bought so far. I'm just not feeling Black Friday this year; no big ticket items I've been waiting on, not much of a gamer anymore, and my few relatives are easily shopped. I've got tomorrow off, so I might head out to survey the stores once the madness has settled but I won't be looking for anything specific.

All I've gotten so far, all from Amazon:

Dishonored for PS3
Planet Earth Blu-Ray (great deal, 82% off, only $18. I've wanted to get it for ages but the price has always been too steep)
Prometheus 3D for my dad

I wish I'd seen the PS3 3D display, awesome deal.

Just drove in from my parents and on a whim decided to stop in at the Walmart in the small town by my place.

It was super packed but I was lucky. Some guy saw me driving into the parking lot with my giant truck and waved at me from the parking lot, he got in his car and let me grab his spot.

I then walked in. It was insanely packed but everyone seemed civil. There were a lot of people waiting around mountains of 360 consoles with signs that said "sell at 10".

I grabbed a copy of Xcom for 25 bucks and walked out without any hassle.

It seemed pretty reckless though you could steal a stack of videogames without a second thought. So crowded and there was nobody watching the cases.

Overall not bad. Great deal on a game I wanted to try out.

Hey guys, in your experience, do clothing stores get wrecked on Black Friday the same as big box stores?
Yes, but later in the day usually. People hit up the electronic stores first for gifts/amazing deals on that kind of stuff then wander to clothing stores.

Any good online sources to buy an iPad Mini on a discount?
My cousin wants me to buy him one since it's cheaper in the US.

Apple's online sale starts at 12 AM PST / 3 AM EST.

I think they are currently the only retailer selling iPad Minis. There's no indication that iPad Minis will go on sale, but no indication that they won't go on sale.

Don't get your hopes up too much though -- Apple's Black Friday deals are usually very very modest. It might be better this time around though, since Best Buy is selling regular iPads with a flat $60 discount.

Just went to Walmart.

What a cesspool of *#*#&@*@#*. The video game section was being handled by one guy who has key to the locked cabinet. The line wrapped around multiple sections and each person gets to ask the guy what he wants and he grabs it from the cabinet and hands it to you.

Here's hoping Amazon or Best Buy matches some of the prices.

What's the likelihood of BB's Toshiba TV being available online come 12 PST?

Amazon matched basically everything.

I'll be refreshing for the hell of it.
