Black Friday 2014 |OT| Forget Thanksgiving, Black Friday starts after Halloween

Bullshit. The Best Buy near me had people line up 24 hours before the sale last year. And not just a few people, over 50!

I'd rather just buy the TV model I wanted on a regular sale and not ruin Thanksgiving.

I live in San Jose, CA which is absolute hell for getting good deals, and I've never camped out more than 4-5 hours out from BF opening and not gotten a door buster I've wanted. Yes, there's people out there in obscene amounts of times, but between large amounts of stock and not everyone in front of you wanting the same things as you - I've never had issue getting a door buster. And Best Buy typically does a ticket system, so it's not just a herd of people racing in to get what they want.

Jesus christ at that Wii U Best Buy deal.

*expand dong pic*
its really insane, i paid the same for just a wii u and nintendoland on launch haha, my L
but damnnnnn, super mario 3D captain toad is amazing, donkey kong from what i hear is amazing and smash is godly, plus nintendoland for multiplayer

glad i can get aliens though :D i am hyped

cmon master chief collection, i need that discounted too

i posted this over in the gaming thread, but its worth posting here too:

Regarding the Wii U deal, with Best Buy's Gamers Club and a refurbished Wii U from nintendo's online store at $200, you can get this bundle right now if you want. Probably cheaper, because this includes tax and shipping.

Even with your example, that means giving up aal of Thanksgiving just to save a little money.

There's still no Vita bundle at any retailer that I've seen so far. A few left to go, but this is disheartening so far.

Nobody carries the Vita in large enough quantities to have any sort of sale on them. I think Sony has quietly put the system out to pasture in Western retail.

I expect the Wii U/3D world bundle to discount to $250ish eventually via ebay. Paying a hundred more for tropical breeze and smash... I may have to skip getting a console this holiday. Not a fighting game guy, and the former is almost a year old.

Meh, was expecting more section.

I think it's a decent list. The only thing is that I already have a lot of these titles. That's what I get for doing Black Friday every year.

The Best Buy Wii U deal is way too expensive. Sure, you get a lot of games but you could also buy all them used as well. Granted, I realize that doesn't fit the use case of everyone (wrapping up used games to give to someone as a present) but still. The bundle is assuming all of the games are at the $60 MSRP price point as well which isn't really the case for Super Mario 3D World or Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze in the second hand markets.

Or maybe I'm just sour grapes I can't find the Wii U for $200 (other than refurbished models).

Any deal on Game of Thrones blu-rays?

Haven't seen anything yet, but I remember last year that Seasons 1 & 2 were going for $20 each on blu-ray. Not sure if they were advertised though, but there was a big display of them near the entrance and had a price tag of $19.99 on top of the display.

Thanks, S3 for $20 this year would be great if they do it.

This is probably the case considering all of the people saying they'd just wait for some ridiculous $100 WiiU bundle on Black Friday. If you want a console at a rock bottom price, there's Target's Xbox One deal.

The WiiU deal is definitely "worth it" in one sense but it's not going to blow anyone's socks off either.

How likely is it that GameStop will have the 30$ PlayStation Plus again? Mine probably runs out on Black Friday so I want to buy that again

What's the story behind this?

The premise behind AT&T (and Verizon's) family sharing plan being cheaper is that you are not getting subsidized phones under contract anymore.

If you have one of those $100 for 10GB Mobile Share plans, the only way to upgrade your phone while still keeping that pricing model is to either buy your phone full price or use their Next plan, which is making monthly payments for your phone.

Bah I wish NA PSN put Danganronpa 2 on sale like EU. Might just have to hold out on it stick with Persona Q for this month's game.

any good non-touch screen gaming (not heavy gaming, just enough to run dota, etc) laptops going on sale on BF? i've been waiting to replace this piece of junk laptop!
