Yeah but, and I could be mistaken, this is COD- a franchise that sells REALLY historically well and it's already on special. Regardless of it being Black Friday, the game just fucking came out and already, a week or 2 later and it's 15% off. Not a great sign.

its spending spree weekend. they figured that would entice people to buy it because its on sale.
Now we know that it didn't sell the best COD game. But I am pretty sure the game has sold very well on all platforms combined not to do a price drop this quick outside the reason mentioned earlier.

EA's football/soccer games also sell really well but are always discounted to around $30 for Black Friday. FC26 PS5 was $29 yesterday.

As per that article seems the best boxed deal was £50 where BO7 has been £40 already.
A 12 day old AAA PS5 game being discounted to £40 isn't normal no matter how many want to paint it as such.
