No plans to release Nuketown 2025 to people that did not pre-order. Even though it's on the fucking disc.

Lawl.

I don't think this is accurate. Based on the FAQ it sounds like its included in all launch copies of the game not just pre-orders. The misinformation is probably due to the retailers who list this as a pre-order bonus.

Vonderhaar specifically used the word "pre-order" in terms of the Nuketown 2025 issues.

Thing is, he didnt:

@DavidVonderhaar This is important because I never got a reply from you.. Would people be able to buy Nuketown 2025 later from the store?

@DvLZStaTioN I would never say never, but no plans for that at this time.

Thats dumb. There's no teamwork in COD anyway. Everybody does their own thing.

EDIT- And what Cosmo said.

There is when you actually have friends to play with.

Besides, this seems like a great way to alleviate any map imbalances for one side.

This is a great move for everyone who plays CoD.

As someone who plays Domination way more than any other gametype that seems fine for me. Unless it's a 100% perfectly symmetrical map one team is going to get screwed on getting to the middle territory (how unbalanced this has been has always varied from map to map in every game). I'm assuming that it's still the same 3 capture points, but that the teams basically swap their starting points for the second round. Seems fair to me.

I do get the complaints though in that maybe you've set up base really well at a particular territory or whatnot and will lose that if it's in the first round and it forces the round change. Personally I'm willing to break each game into two "mini" games (if you will) to have a completely level playing field. I suppose it's hard to say 100% for sure without playing it, but at least on paper I'm okay with it.

Seems like a good move for the most part, what is your problem with it? The only negative I can see is that it will make each game take a bit longer.

There's a certain rhythm you have with continuous play. You can have a whole area on lock for the whole match. Breaking domination into rounds is going to kill all that.

Looks like a great addition to me.

Yes but is the old way gone or this is just a new extra way to play it? Why scrap the old way and force one new way for the user when you could have 2 ways to play and appeal to more people. This always baffles me.

I get that, and that is kinda what I am concerned about as well. I like how dom can be rythmatic in how you can play it and it flows smoothly. So I hope this change won't screw that up too much.

But this kinda is why they are making the change it sounds like. There are scenarios on certain maps where ya you can easily lock down both an exterior and the b flag and hold them a lot easier than the other side can. It's not always due to being 'better' than the other team either, it's just the map layout.

This change will make that more fair.

He is talking about sales. BO has sold the most.

Blops sold the most because people were pissed that Activison flat out refused to patch MW2 & they wanted a MW game that wasn't broken.
Blops ended up being a disappointment & less people bought MW3 because of it. MW3 was also a disappointment & even less people will buy Blops 2.

I don't think so. I think more people will buy BO2 but only because it looks really good compared to both MW3 and BO and also looks to have significant mp improvements instead of just "copy paste" like the last 2 were.

Domination is my favorite gametype and it seems like this is a change for the better. But it seems like when it comes to COD, people treat words like "fair" and "balanced" as negatives.

Round-based Dominations? Sounds neat, would alleviate some concerns of assymetrical map design like MW3's Mission where one team's able to throw a grenade to the middle capture point from their base at A and the other team can't (from C).

Black to the Future

YES.

I'm really excited about this COD, something i haven't been about a COD game since MW2. But now that the game is floating around out there i really want to see some PS3 footage, I don't want this to be like BlOps was at launch.
