I do the same, watch the fansubs but only read the US release manga. .hacked (morphix), on the other hand, has an aversion to manga so he only watches the fansubs.

naruto is possibly the most schizo show ever. I just finished up the Sound Five arc which was truly great.. that went right into looking for orichimaru's fortress which I am about to skip the remaining episodes in. one piece has it's "WTF?!?" moments also. I would agree that so far Bleach is the most consistent of the three, though for my money Naruto still has toe coolest "whoa" moments.

All these filler arcs in Naruto are killing me, I haven't even watched the last 6-7 eps (stopped after the curry ep). I have them so I will catch up when I have time. On the other had I stopped watching One Piece after Luffy beat that Croc guy. I loved the show but the version I was watching had the worst sub titles. I need to find a good subbed version and start over.

not for long after the Soul Society arc is over Renji VA said in his blog that Bleach is in for a season of fillers. it was bound to happen though as the anime caught up with the manga very fast.

I agree with this. The OP manga really shows Oda's talents. Filler free and lots of humor that doesn't always translate well into motion (anime).

Although he's made of rubber and has misfits as friends. THat still doens't take away that those crew members have way more depth than the average Bleach character. I mean Ichigo is the only one with a somewhat deep history. The others....

they also have what 200+ eps on Bleach. When if and when Bleach hit the 200 mark I am sure we will all know every little detail about the characters.

I'm mainly talking about the manga which in Bleach case is a little over 200 chapters right now.


EDIT: Don't get me wrong. I really like Bleach. Beats the hell out of Naruto for example but as far as characters etc. Bleach doesn't really offer that much. What Bleach has though is great action scenes which is why I like the series.

I don't usually import GBA games, Bleach GBA was an exception. I got the Naruto RPG just to try it out, didn't get very far but I did get a neat DS case with it. All the other Naruto games I have played to completion
