LESS THIS MORE SILENT HILL!

This actually looks kind of neat, and I look forward to hearing more about it!
I think it's fine if they take some break from SH and focus on a new project with their earned skills from the remake. Focusing too much on SH could lead to developer burnout and loss of interest.
Looking forward to this one but I'm surprised they were working on two projects at a time.

Oh believe me, I know, haha. I'm glad that they're able to mix it up. Ditto!

Awesome. Will be looking out for gameplay trailers.

Ok now answer me this, why do first party studios, and other studios take years to make games and big gaps in between?
In the past didn't they have the art staff move to another game while the first game was being finished, and same for other departments, that way everyone has a job to do?
Why do modern studios not do this? They used to be able to release games in quick succession, but only devs I see do this are smaller teams/ AA devs (Spiders comes to mind).
This should be especially true with sequels or games that share the same engine/design.

How big is their team? When they had the time to make this game as well? Somebody tell them that games take at least 5 years lol.
New horror IP? Sold.

Oh man, European and Asian developers are destroying US right now.

They also did The Medium and Layers of Fear.

The best thing about SH2 remake is that it likely forced bloober to figure out combat. Good grief, why the hell did it take them 15 years to implement it?

Definitely interested in this.

Looks nice, they finally learned to include combat in their games and I'm glad we don't have to wait several years after SH2.

It forced them but they didn't figure it out
I think they figured it out but they need to address balancing and incorporate other elements. I mentioned it in the OT but I think something as simple as limiting how many healing items and bullets you can carry would have worked in favor of the game.

Bloober still has a way to go to achieve what I feel like they could be but they're slowly getting there IMO.

Really going for that Dead Space vibe no? Also got some Returnal influence on story telling too. Excited if they transform into more of an action survival horror studio after SH2R.

Upon second viewing I realize now that she is the creature. Them playing chess in that dreamscape is her inner mind. The human trapped inside. Cool trailer.
