The Blood of Dawnwalker is an open-world dark fantasy action RPG set in 14th-century Europe.
You play as Coen, human by day and vampire by night, fighting to save your family in a story shaped by your actions and the secrets you uncover.

Game Features

Make The Story Your Own

Experience and shape the plot the way you want. Embark on the quest to save your family, or swear revenge on your sire and destroy everyone standing in your way.
Discover ancient secrets lurking in the valley. Rush in head first or risk taking time to prepare. Go alone or search for friends and forge unlikely alliances.

Day And Night

Experience two different gameplay loops, offering distinct abilities to choose from, mysteries to uncover, and varying ways to achieve your goals.
Experiment with different approaches and discover how the world reacts to your actions.

Every Action Matters

Every action - and inaction - shapes the world around you.
Your family's days are numbered, and every time you take on a quest, time moves forward, compelling you closer to the end. Choose carefully whom to help and whom to leave behind. You will not have time for everyone. The world waits for no one. And neither does the villain.

Sword, Claws, And Rage

Defy gravity, become a brutal force of nature, and use your supernatural skills as a vampire. Or raise your sword, and employ powerful magic to take on opponents as a human.
Experiment and adapt as your form changes during the day and night; each has its strengths and weaknesses.

Open World Brimming With Adventure

Venture through the hand-crafted open world and discover all it has to offer.
Roam through the lush forests, the vast plains, the treacherous swamps, the steep mountaintops, and the medieval settlements. Explore forgotten ruins, find remnants of an ancient civilization, and uncover truths that should probably remain hidden.

From visual design, to combat, to music, it does its best to be The Witcher, without being The Witcher.

Looks pretty good. Not expecting a major game from this. A single player vampire slaughter game is interesting with decent combat

PlayStation, Xbox, and PC gamers can play this, while Nintendo fans play From Soft's Duskbloods, funny how things work out in the end

Looks much worse than i thought it would. If it stays as is, i am seeing like a forgettable 73 meta score. Combat system looked so bad. Fix it or it'll flop.

I think this is proving that a director moving over does not automatically mean the output quality would too. Hype deflated

Hmm...yea this looks rough, hope they clean it up and put some weight into the combat.

Looks floaty and the visuals look,..flat? Not sure how to describe it.

Needs more time in the oven for polish for sure.

isn't the Arkane one also wolves related as well? or did i dream that.

either way i knew it was ex devs of some AAA studio.
Maybe some ex-arkane got scouted too, no idea, i know dev studio is polish/in poland and founded by polish ex-cdpr ppl, core team is polish too, not saying only poles are there ofc.

hahahahaha oh fucking boy...

Now we know why they only revealed a bunch of CGI stuff and nothing else.

I hope they are going to give it plenty more time to cook yet, looks pretty 6/10 in current form.

I'm excited for this, but some good dev and not exclusive needs to do an Underworld game. And they better do sexy Seline justice if they do it.

The story and worldbuilding will most likely be good, but its anmations and combat are awful, almost as bad as TW3's

Graphics are nice, though.

I'd be willing to give this a go. Will keep an eye out for this going forward.

In particular I want to know how close to the listed game features the final release gets.

This looked mid as fuck - all hype deflated. Also not a good look to show your game chugging in bland environments.

Not enough info. I don't really care as much about action aspect, I'm curious about quests and towns, etc. At least it's not 1st person for once!

Awful trailer.
Most of the "gameplay reveal" is cutscenes with a few half second clips of janky looking gameplay thrown in there. Half the stuff seems to be running at low frame rates too.

They still have plenty of time to polish the game though (and I guess they can delay it to 2027 if they got the funding).

But I don't know why they are showing it in this state.
