Bloodborne |OT| Now With Newcomers Guide Attached Below OP

I've now reached a point where im stuck on 3 different bosses.

The Giant cthulu Spider in the nightmare place, The Giant flesh monster in the red moon city, and the Dude atop the Cainhurst Castle.
 
Is there an attack that can instantly stop Amelia from healing? I hate sticking close to her because her fur obscures my vision.

For Blood Vials and Bullets, Central Yharnam is a good place. Fatties drop 2 Vials, the wolves drop 3, the old man on the chair drops 3 bullets, the two snipers drop 3 bullets each, and if you're lucky, the other enemies may drop 1 or 2 (on rare occasions) vials or 2-3 bullets. In the sewers, you can get blood stone (?) to fortified weapons but those are rare and rarely drops.

Get them from the enemies along the way. If you don't get any just buy some with the souls you got on the way to the boss. Don't use any on your first couple fights with the boss so you don;t waste them while learning the pattern.

, should I just go down to the
sewers via that alley full of boxes?
I can't think of anyware else that isn't locked

PS4+Bloodborne buy. Got Last of Us bundle. Kind of cool as I've never played TLOU.



Got some really nice headphones from Best Buy for the purchase. They were $100 so I'm assuming.

So what's the trick to riposte? Sometimes my attack works, sometimes not. Do you need to be super close to the enemy?

Makes new items show up in the store, if Brad from Giant Bomb is to be believed.
 
So now I'm stuck making a decision between upgrading the Hunter Axe or the Kirkhammer.

Kirkhammer has much better stat scaling, but man it just doesn't seem to do any significant damage.

I did a lot of farming too. The forest is the best spot for bullets that I found so far. Early on I usually farmed from Central Yharnam to the Cleric Boss area. There is a guy in a wheelchair in a house that always gives 3 or 4 bullets. Decent amount of of blood vial drops in that area too.
 
I didn't know multiple people could get summoned into a game. I just had two other people join me and basically stun lock a boss.

For Rom, focus only on him and not any of the other spiders
2.
I assume you're taking out the Bell-Ringing Women up top, but Reborn One is not hard if you attack his flank and dodge the flesh he drops
3.
I only won this fight by shot-staggering this dude. Use your firearm!

I just used the Hunter Axe and used the charge attack in 2H mode every time I saw her. If you're having a hard time with the extra enemies just let them live with a little bit of health so you can kill them if they got you pinned down.

You know, I love the idea and look of the Kirkhammer but after using it a bit earlier, I was fast starting to miss my axe, I think I prefer it. The charge R2 is too good
 
I am very new to the souls games, what should I be focusing points into? I've been using and loving the axe and have it leveled a bit. So far I've just really put points into health and stamina because I know what those are. Vitality, Endurance, Strength, and Skill are all at 14, Bloodtinge and Arcane at 7.

I can confirm that you don't need to even face the cleric to level up your skills. I've died a total of 20 times throughout the sewers, and shut off my game during my last death. When I booted the game again I was in my dream with a lady in the graveyard who was offering to level me up.

You can level up before even finding him if you explore enough. In order to level up you need one point of insight (one is automatically obtained once you find a boss). There are items that give you insight, and there just so happens to be one before the Cleric Beast. I THINK it was on one of the corpses by the brick giant banging on the door in the fountain area before the bridge.

Im not taking about Rom for #1. Im talking about the Giant ass mother fucker In the Nightmare place.
