harharhar@ getting frenzied by Brain Maidens while fighting those two Giant Shark Cunts. Miyazaki might be my favorite working designer but dude's an asshole.
No, I didn't notice he was there until I got his stuff because the giant shark hit him through the wall.Nah he lies on the ground there anyway. Did you try talking to him? He should have some dialogue before he checks out.
Maybe I'm just dense but is there actually any strategy to fighting Brain Maidens other than slamming down sedative and trying to avoid them in the first place? I've killed them before, don't get me wrong, but it just isn't a very repeatable occurence.

Ludwig is an hell of a boss, yep. But the fight is so cool.
I wonder if the chalices donjons scale on NG+ ? I'm NG+ and all my chalices are still active.

You need to put a password, there are a lot of people over there
Yes.Ah bummer, he doesn't say much anyway. Did he give you a key?
Now that is a great question. I've had 60+ the entire time so I wouldn't know the difference. Are there any notable Insight effects in the DLC areas?
oops. GAFHUNT is password
Really your best bet is to equip some armor with good frenzy resistance, dodge their initial attack and take them out quickly, plus have a sedative handy just in case.
Other than bum rushing them, eating one Frenzy, and hoping you can kill it before you get hit with another, not really. But that goes to shit if there's more than one... yeah I just run away and pop a sed most times.
Yes.
Can't find you :/
That's odd. The bell is ringing. I'm in front of the door. Is there a level discrepancy? I'm 183.

How did that happen? If going down the well the brain maidens don't aggro, and if you approach from the bottom of the elevator I'd always kill them before jumping down, doing otherwise seems suicidal.harharhar@ getting frenzied by Brain Maidens while fighting those two Giant Shark Cunts. From the wiki:Shit, i didn't know, i'm 48 :[
From the wiki:
Once you reach 40 (soft cap) in Endurance you gain almost no benefit for each further point invested, although you still gain an increase in resistances all the way up to 99 (the hard cap).
At 40 Endurance you will have 160 Stamina. This remains the same for 99 Endurance.

Finally beat Ludwig after 90+ tries. My hands are shaking lol. Please tell he was the toughest boss of dlc

Check out the link Nullabe posted. All of the stats have soft and hard caps, and some of them like Vitality have three "tiers":Whelp, that's the first I've heard about soft caps in there. Is end the only stat that has a soft cap or are there others that should be avoided above a certain level?
Check out the link Nullabe posted. All of the stats have soft and hard caps, and some of them like Vitality have three "tiers":
Once you reach 30 in Vitality you will start to see diminishing returns, after 50 (the soft cap) you will see a more severe drop-off all the way up to 99 (the hard cap.)

Here you go:Can't. I should have prefaced that I'm at work and can't look at the site.
Edit: Maybe I'll just have to remember to check when I'm back home. I knew of diminishing returns for some stats at higher levels, but wasn't aware of such a soft cap for end. Luckily I haven't gone above 35 at this point.
Vitality
The Vitality stat governs HP (hit points).
Once you reach 30 in Vitality you will start to see diminishing returns, after 50 (the soft cap) you will see a more severe drop-off all the way up to 99 (the hard cap.)
Endurance
The Endurance stat governs stamina and resistances.
Once you reach 40 (soft cap) in Endurance you gain almost no benefit for each further point invested, although you still gain an increase in resistances all the way up to 99 (the hard cap). There is no encumbrance system in Bloodborne.
At 40 Endurance you will have 160 Stamina. This remains the same for 99 Endurance.
Strength
The Strength stat governs heavy physical weapon ATK as well as increasing visceral damage. Determines whether or not you can use certain equipment.
Strength increases trick weapon damage. Strength based weapons receive more benefit from each invested strength point than other weapons. Once you reach 25 in Strength you will start to see diminishing returns, after 50 (the soft cap) you will see a more severe drop-off all the way up to 99 (the hard cap).
Visceral attack damage increases with Strength above 18 with steep diminishing returns after 50.
Skill
The Skill stat governs more nuanced physical weapon ATK and increases your visceral damage more than other stats. Determines whether or not you can use certain equipment.
Skill increases trick weapon damage. Skill based weapons receive more benefit from each invested skill point than other weapons. Once you reach 25 in Skill you will start to see diminishing returns, after 50 (the soft cap) you will see a more severe drop-off all the way up to 99 (the hard cap).
Visceral attack damage increases with Skill above 18 with steep diminishing returns after 50.
Bloodtinge
The Bloodtinge stat governs power of weapons that use Quicksilver Bullets. Determines whether or not you can use certain equipment.
Once you reach 25 in Bloodtinge you will start to see diminishing returns, after 50 (the soft cap) you will see a more severe drop-off all the way up to 99 (the hard cap.)
Arcane
The Arcane stat governs power of Arcane ATK. Determines whether or not you can use certain equipment. Also increases Discovery Rates.
Once you reach 25 in Arcane you will start to see diminishing returns, after 50 (the soft cap) you will see a more severe drop-off all the way up to 99 (the hard cap.)
Despite all trick weapons have an arcane scaling, investing in arcane does nothing to these weapons' physical damages.
The increase to discovery will cap out at 50 arcane with 209 discovery. Increasing arcane more only affects elemental damage scaling.
nope,2 bosses are harder
Here you go:
No problem, man! I know the struggle of having Bloodborne on the mind while at work. Thanks a bunch for posting all of that! Seems like End is the only stat that seems like a total waste after 40.
You are totally a scholar and a gentleman.

@plastic & myco: are you done with the boss ?
Nope. Just died again.
Can't find your game btw :s
Oh well, it might be easier with 2 ppl
