I thought the Ken Burns movie was theater based. I have yet to see it, but I have no doubt that that will be a great movie to watch on BR.

judging by the special on ABC the last couple of years which has been labeled as HD.. probably not. Still, there is probably SOMEONE out there just getting their very first home entertainment setup and first disc player and Charlie Brown Christmas is now available for them to own in a modern video format. :)

I keep seeing people talk about that, but I didn't get one unfortunately
I tried Amazon's VOD and it's more hassle than it's worth. At least to me. I rented "Wonder Woman," but their Unboxing client only works on Windows. Not to mention the video's picture is cut off at the bottom and I don't know how to fix it.

apparently you should be mindful on which charlie brown you buy. Some stores, like Target, have a 2-disc version which contains a digital copy. doesn't seem to be any other difference, but still for people who care about digital copies (I do) it is worth it to probably find that version. at least until either managed copy finally hits or it becomes much faster and less of a hassle to rip blu-rays down to ipod/iphone.

Got Snow White. I also have the UK versions of Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and Looking for Eric, which are out this week, on order.

Didn't think so, seeing as they were originally television broadcasts.

Thanks for the heads up. It's weird that Target seems to be getting all of these exclusive versions. All of the Dreamworks animated movies w/ dvd discs, for example.

Anyways, will Amazon credit the account of customers who pre-ordered it for $24.99?
Yes, you'll get an email confirming it in a day or two.

Trick'r Treat, Dinosaurs Alive, Seventh Moon...anyone seen these? Are they good?

A horror aficionado friend of mine watched Seventh Moon tonight and is raving about it. Even though everyone seems to be content to forget they're even alive, both of the Blair Witch guys have gone on to direct some very solid movies, and this sounds like it may be another one. I'll be checking it out this weekend.

Snow White deal is pretty sweet. I went ahead and added 2001 since it's still like 9 bucks at Amazon to get both for a total of 20 bucks! :D

Blind buying Trick R Treat and considering getting The Children after seeing the praise as well.

Did anyone pick them up? How are the discs?
