After seeing Matlock's animated avatar:
I figured I'd check at the anime Grenadier since, hey boobs and guns/action. Unfortunately as all good things tend to be, it was too good to be true.
The opening instantly gave me bad vibes, with this horribly cheery title.
The opening also really liked to lay the boobs on thick, showing plenty of hot bath scenes and the like.
The starting of the anime was pretty normal, bunch of samurai's attacking a heavily fortified fortress guarded by people with guns who had kidnapped their lord. (people able to use guns are known as "enlightened").
They get slaughtered, and one of the main samurai guys runs off to hide because he's wounded and being chased. Well he finds the perfect hiding spot.
Yes, he hid between the main characters breasts. She introduces herself as traveler who wants to extend peace throughout the country without the use of violence. (starting to sound familiar?)
Cuts back to the castle, with the main samurai dude about to get sniped from a cliff. When he's suddenly saved by McBreasts and her fancy hip shooting. They seem to really like giving the biguns screen time, and I'm going to guess that 50% of this anime will turn out to be shots just of her breasts. The other 50% will be accidents involving people falling ontop of, running into, or being smacked with her breasts.... but that's just a hunch.
She then waltzes in the castle (they open the doors for some strange reason) and proceeds to politely ask to release the lord. And when I say politely, I mean it... she has the voice of someone who should be serving tea and not shooting. Even when she busts out with the guns she sounds all meek. Well... they don't like that idea and start to shoot at her.
She proceeds to dodge it all while taking them out. Her revolver empty, she's told by the big bad guy she has no more bullets and she's screwed. THey open up fire... and what happens next... I didn't know breasts could do.
She spins around in circles... empties her gun, bullets fly out of her cleavage and she reloads them in midair.
I was under the impression those were empty shells falling ontop of her breasts in that avatar... no... those are live bullets coming out. Hopefully it'll explain why her breasts are so huge, but I'm not holding my breath.
She then jumps around the place shooting people up, with a very lack luster action scene except for the times she reloads.... case in point
When all is done the lord is saved, and she didn't even take a single life (again, remind you of another anime?).
Then samurai dude announces he'll be her side kick for hilarious antics that will involve her breasts no doubt, and a quick scene show's her mentor that looks like she was ripped out of a Tenchi anime.
All in all, i'm sad. I'm only allowed to download 10 gigs per month after that it's 5 bucks per gig (alaskans get screwed) and I wasted quite a bit on this thing. I downloaded the whole series, and I'll have to force myself to watch it just so those bytes don't go to waste
