I'll be glad when nano-boosted death blossom is out of the meta, it's no fun to watch being used to wipe teams over and over
 
This UI is messing with my head. The attacking team is color-coded red, and the defending team is color-coded blue.

But, between them they have the payload marker where attack is color-coded blue and defense is color-coded red. And the scores are 0 and 1, on the opposite sides and in the opposite colors of the actual team UIs.
 
Starting to think mei ult charges too fast after that match (Russia vs Finland).

Even if they make it charge slower [15% increase on PTR atm, 15% is nothing] bigger issues are radius, how fast it freezes and how long it lasts. Once your team is frozen in instant it's all over.

Well, for normal people it doesn't charge that fast. When you've got a pro player landing over 50% of his icicles it is a different story.

I think the real problem with is a combination of radius and duration. Not only is it total area control for practically any chokepoint/control point in the game it is death to anybody who doesn't get out before being frozen.

You aren't getting out if you aren't standing right on top of its edge as it activates. Sure heroes like Mei and Reaper can save themselves, but most of your team is frozen in instant and cleaned up.

Also Blizzards are quite frequent even Plat ranked. Mei charges it super fast when combining attacks and cube.

Good points. I imagine Blizzard is watching these matches and considering future balance.

It's nice to see Mei picked at all when she was never a part of the meta before though.

Who would have guessed that increasing radius of blizzard 3x while leaving everything else as is [long duration, instant freezing] would skyrocket Mei's pick rate.

have gone too far on her buffs, but I think it's good that Blizzard recognizes that all characters need to be viable to make the game as interesting as possible to play and to spectate.
