Borderlands DLC vs Red Dead Redempation DLC

UndeadUndeadUndead

i put off purchasing/playing it for ages, when i finally got round to it recently i was blown away

i've never even played RDR but the borderlands DLC is pretty boring and I found I was way overlevelled for it. Also, in the two expansions I played I never found any weapons that were better than the ones i'd got doing the main story. Which is a bit of a let down. So... go with RDR and wait for Borderlands 2 I'd say.

I adore Borderlands and its DLC is pretty substantive, but I wouldn't pay full price for it at this point unless you still play regularly with friends.

This reminds me I never finished Undead Nightmare. Got two of the special horses but that's about what I remember. I was into other games when it hit. This brings it back to my list of games to revisit soon.

I didn't find Borderlands DLC too special tbh, but it's not my kind of game. RDR is fantastic all around, my GOTG so that's my recommendation.

Rockstar said that the high price point wasn't working for them recently, and they think 10-15 is the better way to go. I think both are valid. But sadly they're always going to chase maximum number of sales rather than produce content that fits the brand.

how could you not have finished it,the game is like 2 hours long,i 100% it in one sitting

I remember I did the first couple of missions, then the game asked me to go somewhere else in the map, so I was on my way there, I found one of the cool horses, then I got it and pretty much went around the map looking for shit to kill. There were some "capture this point" missions that had to be done (iirc) to go to the next story mission so I did a few of those, then I don't know... Just turned it off and I guess I moved on to another game I had and left it at that.

Undead Nightmare is overrated imo, the zombies are too fast and it's really repetitive, it has great writing, great humor, and a great atmosphere though.

Two of my favorite games ever. But at this point, the correct answer is Undead Nightmare. If you do go with Borderlands, go with General Knoxx.

Get the General Knox DLC. It's the only Borderlands DLC you really need since it bumps up the level cap. It has the best loot of all of them as well. Yeah there is too much backtracking but it's nothing compared to the repetition of Undead Nightmare. Sure Undead Nightmare has a fun story behind it, but a lot of the missions are boring and the faster paced action of the zombies doesn't fit perfectly with RDR's gunplay.
