Except it did! The cops surrounded them at all times, pulled them out and drove them off in police vans (I believe, at the very least they were escorted out). There were cops all around them, and it was super clear they were never going to have to "fight their way out." The self aggrandizing "we might have to fight our way out!" is pure bullshit, and everyone who saw the news knows it.
