FBI gets involved with missing person cases after bring requested to by the local authorities. They may have just wanted to expand the search.

No, the family has money and they probably thought he was behind the local bombs going off. They don't do a search for just a random person missing with no sign of foul play. FBI has much more important things to do

pressure cooker found at scene in Watertown. not sure if it was explosive or just a pressure cooker.

The controlled explosion is going to be like the thanksgiving episode of king of the hill with meat debris raining on the plane.

Maybe they can't find him because he committed suicide.

Then he will be brought to justice.

Their noses are exactly the same. I don't get the people who are saying the two people in the photos aren't the same guy. Sure, I could definitely be wrong, but it seems so self-evident to me.

Exams are still going on in Boston? The hell

My school, Northeastern, BU, BC, and many others opened as normal on Tuesday. I know Emerson opened a bit later.

The only school I know of that is still closed is Berklee. Part of their campus is still in the crime scene perimeter.

Maybe they can't find him because he committed suicide.

I hope it's not true but it could be. IF 7 News confirmed they heard the guy at large had explosives, and it was the missing student who left a note hinting at suicidal tendencies.... it could be likely, right?

I'm wary of posting the facebook pic, because he is innocent until proven guilty (although it looks cut and dry), and there is also an innocent girl in the pic. I don't want to be wrong and villify someone innocent.

It's a little too late to protect this guy's identity. Innocent or not, there have already been a bunch of pics of him shared. You can MSPaint the girl out.

So they robbed a 7/11 when everyone in the nation was already looking for them?
It's been almost 4/5 days since the bombings, if youre on the run youre hungry, tired, and possibly fucking insane. You go into a gas station, take some food and drinks and bail out, obviously they fucked up and now they're either dead or soon to be caught.

What are the honest chances they're going to try and take the suspect alive at this point? I mean I know they should ( and I hope they do) but with 1 officer dead and another down how trigger happy are they likely to be?

This is nuts.

I hope no one else is hurt tonight.

I can't imagine how freaked out people in the area must be right now, maybe even listening to the feed while this suspect is potentially in their neighbourhood.

These officers are also keeping their cool, they have an international audience on their scanners - what added pressure in addition to catching this suspect.
