They do look alike.
Note I am not claiming it is Sunil. You ARE claiming it is not Sunil.
I think they got in the shootout with the MIT police officer before they highjacked Mercedes.
I think this guy may have managed to disappear. He had so much time.

If this guy manages to escape from this...
They are on a secure channel , the one you are hearing is a small scope of the whole operation.I'm confused as to how the FBI and other agencies are involved right now. Are they using BPD radio or their own? What is their role right now, they're not doing the house by house sweep.
Better to move at night than to hunker down and wait until day.Isn't the perimeter 20 blocks? He could easily be hunkered up somewhere inside.
I think this guy may have managed to disappear. He had so much time.
Is there a summary of what's happened so far? 1 suspect dead?

Well a lot of gaffers were 100% certain. I hope they realise how wrong they were. I also hope they stay away from future facial recognition threads in the future. Truely baffling how they just toyed with the image of a missing kid who clearly didn't look like the suspect (if you have normal working eyes).No. If anything, people are leaning towards the opposite.
Alright, think it's time to tap out.. Hope there's a summary in the OP in the morning.
Now they're talking about clearing houses again. So whoever said they had the suspect was either wrong or talking about a different one.
Yes there was a decent amount of time between when they saw him and when the perimeter went up.I'm worried about that too. There was a decent time between when they were first spotted and when they started the perimeter. I hope he didn't run for it and make it out of there before they secured it.
I agree. I think there is more of a resemblance than not.
If I'm not mistaken (I didn't have a lot of time to read everything):
One suspect dead, he shot one police officer (dead) and died after an explosive device attached to his body went off. (He died in the hospital)
The other one is on the run. I'm not sure if the police had him in his sights.
Not sure what the car chase was about.
Not the same town / city.NoRéN;54549228 said:how far is that?

Saw a couple more asking and since we're after 6am decided I might as well dump this out truncated one more time:
THESE ARE THE MARATHON BOMBING SUSPECTS

Better summary:
This was the DA statement and press conference earlier, may be off since I just jotted it down, but is generally what I heard across those sources:
MIT classes cancelled. MIT says he sacrified to save the campus.
Police are waiting for daylight to do a house to house sweep of a 20 block area they have sectioned off.
Police are beginning their house to house sweep, closing down the perimeter they setup three hours ago.Same here. I have no clue what's going on anymore.
I don't think he wants to get out of dodge. I think he wants to plan another attack. These guys have no tact. They just want to cause mayhem. Escaping the net for a while gives him more time to do some heinous shit. They had so much time between Mon/Thur. I'm surprised they were still in Boston. I doubt this guy has gone far.
No, the opposite.
And considering the long history of people who have been mistakenly IDed as a criminal, I don't know why people are so eager to name someone.
Does it matter? Why does the race or political identity or religious affiliation have to be proven at all? Whoever these people are, it's not like they are true representatives of that nationality/religion/political ideology.
Pete Williams: Legal Permanent Residents, from Turkey or Czechen refugees from Turkey. Not students.
So they're still just sweeping houses and responding to potential threats. Guess the snipers were just positioned like that because the one house seemed potentially dangerous.
Suspect #1 seems most dangerous to me, he looks big and fit.
Better to move at night than to hunker down and wait until day.
They likely have to clear houses for bomb threats regardless. Also, someone can be a suspect without being THE suspect. Now they're talking about clearing houses again. So whoever said they had the suspect was either wrong or talking about a different one.
