Am I alone in feeling like the military like lockdown of this city just feels like a bit much?
If this was 24 and a guy was running around with a briefcase nuke, I'd totally get it, but this is one punk with maybe a gun, and maybe a grenade or two. I know that's a serious threat, but I'm just not sure what to make of so many "troops" rolling through the streets of an American City.
It's certainly setting a precedent.
so funny man keep going
Does he have do blow up another 8 year old until it's justified?
Got someone else on the ground.
Do we know what happened to the old man and robots?
Both the Bruins and Red Sox had a game tonight. Both postponed.

He was cleared and EMS was able to check on him.
I'm not in the camp of this is all unnecessary to shut down the city.
I am in the camp of shit like this being unnecessary.
Thanks for posting. Honestly it's a shame we never got a picture like this of Osama Bin Laden. The American public deserves to see these things to give proper closure.
I realize this has been said before, and that mayhem is the intention of the suspect(s) but can you imagine if the police reacted like this every time three black kids got shot?
I actually know, intellectually why the scale of the operation is the way it is, but it's kind of astounding and I don't really know how to digest it.
can anyone explain the open mic thing to me?
In there?

So every single night someone it shot to death in Chicago. Does that mean they should have "troops" rolling through the streets of that city to make sure not one more person gets shot tonight?
