The best thing about omeletts is there are no rules. You can literally put anything in an omelette. Believe me, I've done it.

On weekdays, it's Vegemite and butter on a toasted English muffin or bran flakes with soy milk.

Sounds good, right?

Although, my favourite weekend breakfast is avocado scrambled eggs w/ spinach fried in sesame oil with some brown sugar and sesame seeds.

Or smoked salmon on an English muffin with cream cheese and some thyme on top, toasted.

Holy shit that sounds good.

Weekdays it is usually fruit or a nutrigrain bar. Weekends are awesome and I make bacon and eggs. Loooove breakfast food.

Usually 2-3 slices of bread with sliced eggs, turkey, cheese, cucumber on top. Sometimes add quark with berries or myesli.

3 cups of coffee.

Lately it's been a protein shake and a granola bar. On the weekends sometimes it's either frozen waffles or eggs up with some wheat toast for dipping.

I work nights so when I get home I can eat a decent sized breakfast (my "dinner")

I'm quite fond of turkey sausage, bacon, some toast with a little bit of jam. I don't like eggs, never liked em.

Really? I'm not fond of Fried Egg by itself, but on a sammich its damn good. Scrambled Egg is the best kind of egg (Use milk people, don't be cheap and use water).

What I'm currently craving right now is god damn BLT.

Milk? Don't be cheap! Use butter before adding the eggs, then thickened cream or creme fraiche.
Last year bought a truffle, damn those things are expensive, now THAT was some good scrambled eggs

Speaking of eggs, fried with sriracha, Cholula or Tapatio are the best. Also ll I'll often like adding home made frijoles onto eggs, and sometimes complete the set for a huevos rancheros.

Besides that? I don't really eat much "breakfast" food, if I'm hungry I'll eat whatever. Dhal (Indian or Sri Lankan) with rice is a pretty great breakfast. The most "normal" (e.g. Western) breakfast I'll eat is the occasional bowl of porridge.

I don't usually eat breakfast during the week, sleep in too late for that.

I usually have Granola with Greek Yoghurt and Blueberrys.

Being a Brit I was always curious about the US / Canadian breakfast, which I never had even when I was in the US (my hotel in NYC did bagels and coffee really), but when I was in an ultra hip part of London I stumbled across as US style place called The Breakfast Club, this was the result:

Fuck me the pancakes are good, and the syrup with the egg yolk, it was sofuckinggood.

What's a good breakfast for a Sunday morning?

Oh by the way, I'm going to post a recipe up tomorrow, for what is possibly the most delicious breakfast ever.

I miss my old work. We had the best breakfast choices.

Ham, sausage or bacon. Or a combination if you wanted.

Egg.

Choice of American, provolone, pepperjack or swiss cheese.

And you could put it on:

Bagel(everything, asiago, regular, honey wheat, cin raisin, blueberry or sesame)

Croissant

English muffin(regular or wheat)

Toast(white or wheat)

Better breakfast sandwiches than any place I've ever been.

Good thread.

During the week I normally eat cereal or a bagel, but on the weekends I love to make coffee, and make an omlette/scrambled eggs with toast and hash browns. Saturday morning breakfast = the best

Being a lazy student, I usually wake up too late for breakfast.

When I do have breakfast, I'll usually have a couple of fried eggs and some bacon. Or, if I'm in a rush, a bowl of cereal.

Oatmeal during the week, or cream of wheat.

Lately on the weekends, the house fave has been French toast made from artisan bread and topped with a pecan brown sugar butter. Yum.

I've pretty much had 2 eggs, 2 pieces of Bacon and 2 links of sausage for the last 1-2 years without fail. Sometimes I add pork Chorizo to the eggs.

i usually eat oatmeal or shredded wheat.

i wish i could find a diner that made real chicken fried steak from scratch. i hate the pre-made patties they use. i can tell, you diners!

8 slices thick bread
1 tsp. Vanilla
8 round slices canned pineapple (you can obviously use fresh pineapple as well)
5 eggs
¼ tsp. Cinnamon (or more)
1 ½ cups milk
1 tbsp. Margarine (or more)
¼ cup white sugar
¾ cup brown sugar (or more)

Place bread slices in a 9 x 13 baking pan. Beat eggs with milk, white sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour mixture over bread slices, then turn bread over and allow it to soak at least 10 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.

Brush margarine over the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking pan and then sprinkle evenly with brown sugar. Arrange pineapple slices in a single layer on the brown sugar. Place a piece of the soaked bread on each pineapple slice. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 30 – 40 minutes or until puffed and browned. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes.

It is absolutely delicious. Very surgery, but so damn good. Every person I tell this about hasn't heard of it, so I thought I'd share it.

Breakfast is easily my least favorite meal. I don't to eat very much in the morning. A hard boiled egg and some almonds is what I usually have.

More and more recently, I've stopped really giving a shit about cultural conventions for what is a breakfast food, meaning I'll eat rice and beans for breakfast if I have it leftover or something. That isn't to say that most of my breakfasts are wildly different from the norm. Ideal breakfast I would say is a serving of protein (beans, meat, eggs, cheese) and some high fibrous carbs (oatmeal, shreaded wheat). Breakfast should be a filling meal that isn't full of sugar and processed carbs. That way I don't get hungry at like 10:30 and need to eat a huge lunch that puts me to sleep in the afternoon

Lately I've been hooked on this one local taqueria's breakfast tacos. Either bacon, egg and potato or chorizo, egg and potato rolled up in a tortilla and dribbled with hot sauce.

I've also rediscovered the simple tastiness of McDonald's #4 sausage-and-egg biscuit.

6 eggs and 5 slices of bacon... It's like breakfast Russian roulette

I generally eat 2 eggs, scrambled, and melt some cheese on them when they are mostly cooked. Takes me like 7 mins to make and keeps me full for quite a while.

Dude, I've been there! The one in SoHo? The Full Monty there became my second favorite breakfast after any Mexican Breakfast.
