Eggs, bacon, avocado, vitamins. I make the bacn every few days and keep it in the fridge. I drown the egg in hot sauce because I hate eggs.got my proteins and fats on lockdown, and I'm not as tempted to snack at work as I was when I ate cereal. Feels good.
reading this thread is making me desperately want a full english tomorrow morning, annoyingly my grocery shopping is being delivered anytime now and i've realised i didn't order any bacon
I try to vary my breakfast throughout the week, between cereal, fruit + yoghurt + nuts, omelette or scrambled eggs on toast, and jamón or fresh cheese & tomato on toast. I only usually have coffee + juice with breakfast at the weekend.
Good morning, GAF. Today I made spicy sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, and hashbrowns with chopped onion and green pepper. Washed it all down with a tall glass of water.
Is it bad that I am starting to dislike Bacon? I usually buy the a package of it, but I'm not liking the taste anymore, is there such thing as fresh bacon, or premium brands of it?
Sometimes when I order pizza, I can not have bacon on it.
Sunday and Monday I've had french toast, eggs, amd bacon. As a sandwich. Since Tuesday I've been eating Kashi brand waffles and sausage. As a sandwich.
By the way, the new Tropical Honey Brunches of Oats... Meh. Tastes like chewing gum. It's mango pieces and coconut. The mango tastes like stride tropical chewing gum.
I had some limited edition red velvet poptarts earlier that went great with ice cream. planned to make homemade toaster strudels today but didnt feel like going to the store for the pastry dough.
It's amazing how typing on a touch pad hinders one's abilty to write like they've taken basic writing/english classes. lol sorry about that
I've been thinking of changing my breakfast lately. I've lived on bread and butter with cheese, caviar or ham with a glass of chocolate milk basically all my life. But I think my stomach is starting to complain about my amount of milk. Anyway, Having to buy all these ingredients almost weekly is expensive for a student and energy wise it's not very varied. What would be a good alternative that is both healthy and gives me enough energy and still is pretty affordable? I'm probably seriously hooked on the sugar in the chocolate milk after 20+ years of daily intake. In essence, I want something more long lasting so I don't have to shop as often.
A bit random but I made latkes with salad for my mom's birthday breakfast today (tomorrow I'm doing rib steaks with hasselback potatoes). Pretty starchy weekend.
My current breakfast usually consists of eggs, sausage, potatoes with sautéed onions, and coffee. Oatmeal and a greek yogurt is pretty good too for a morning breakfast option. Whatever it is though, never ever forget the coffee. Ever.
Over a year later, and I've learned I can't have dairy products, as I'm lactose intolerant, so today I had Lactose free milk cereal, doesn't feel the same. Well hey, at least I'm not getting stomach cramps anymore.
Christmas day will be the ever so delicious Upside Down Pineapple French Toast. So good, but so bad for you.
