Hey guys, went tot he tapings last night in Jacksonville, just a few brief poionts, I didn't take any notes haha.
Crowd was pretty hot unless the match involved a local joker or one of Bashems(blah).
Super Crazy vs Nunzio was good, but wasn't a title match. Super Crazy looked very good and won the match after unleashing a beating haha.
Steven Richards won, Hardcore Holly won, and Paul London lost to his former partner whose name escapes me.
On Smackdown itself:
Tazz got a huge pop as always, I miss the guy in actual competition!
Exact match order is out of place but
MNM defeated LOD. Nidia looked hot, but the match was pretty blah. Heidenreich's biggest thing was getting hooked up with Animal, crowd digs it big time.
Ken Kennedy beat Booker T via top rope niceness. Christian was commentator for this match, didn't get involved except with Chanelle, who looked mighty fine! Very cool finisher for Kennedy, looked pretty painful, no idea if that's his normal one.
Stacy Kiebler vs Christie Hemme = No Contest. Broken up by Sylvan Granier who is then interrupted by Hardcore Holly and smashed. Both girls looked mighty fine and we had good seats for the match and entrances, wish my camera's zoom worked more, hehe.
Simon Dean came out and bragged about his system, obv, saying Batista was a customer. Of course that brought Batista out for their match and he said he'd never tried it. Tried on drink, said "It makes me feel stronger, bigger, MORE AGGRESSIVE" then destroys Dean. Looking tired, Batista has another drink and Batista bombs the hell out of Dean. Finally he poses with a drink over his body as the 1,2,3 is counted, pretty hilarious stuff, Dave is such a clown sometimes.
Cowboy Bob and RKO speech, boring, but the ladies love that Randy.
23 second match with Benoit/Jordan as well as a replay of the previous one splitscreened with Benoit taking a piss. Funny stuff.
Psycho Eddie is back, giving a speech about losing everything. Boring speech for the live crowd since it was a taped segment. Steel cage match between Mysterio and Guerrerro next Friday, should be great.
Main Event was RKO vs Rey 619 Mysterio.
Crowd was super hot for this one, loved watching Rey Rey in action. At first it looked like a squash but Rey got some very good offense in, was a back and forth affair. Usual 619 happened but Cowboy interfered shocker. RKO won via top rope RKO. Thta was the end of the taping.
To send the crowd home happy they had Batista come back out and challenge RKO. Back and forth affair here, good match that would've been good on TV also, but in the end, a nasty looking Bombtista on Randy for the win.
Was a fun time, and will be watching it on Thursday haha.
