I love indie pop, indie electronic, some indie rock. Lately, I've been loving indie bands that engage in synth pop or 80's revitalisation pop.

I just embrace fact people don't like metal in Britgaf and enjoy being odd duck who does.

But then again Jimbor did say I have music taste of a pubescent teenager so eh what do I know

You already took it, mane.

I knew it'd get a response!

8bit my least favourite poster is Bob Marley. With "Bob Marley" written underneath it. Or sad panda Cobain with "Kurt Cobain" underneath.

Listening to Blur's 13 album while I walk home. Memories!

I listened to Good News For People Who Love Bad News for the first time in forever today.

Fucking amazing album. I missed it dearly.

Those two albums are in permanent rotation on my phone. blur's self-titled album is there too. I properly hated it when it came out because I was expecting The Great Escape 2, but having matured a bit I can appreciate it for the amazing album it is.

Wakusei Abnormal are one of my favourite bands.

Anata Sonata is pretty weak compared to Nandemonai Kyouki, but I like them both. I barely even follow what they do, I just get sent links by a friend from time to time when new stuff happens with Japanese music.

If you haven't already, I suggest checking out Melt Banana's Cell-Scape and Deerhoof's The Runners Four. I'd link tracks but I'm being a Dad.

they are now on my list

I first knew (for the tenth time) that I was a bit 'different' when everyone at school loved Song 2 and I was like "Essex Dogs! Essex Dogs!" I love that song.

It's actually a really good album. I like Think Tank too.

I went to see blur touring Think Tank and lost my virginity that day. Forever happy memories.

😄

13 was the album that I used to listen to in my dads car when he drove me to my first non summer job. I remember the time I bunked off and got high and then had to sit in the car paranoid while the album played during the 30 minute drive.

Speaking of music: a) the new Sleater-Kinney is out today, though it's been streaming since last week, and it's brilliant, and I can't wait for their show even more now, and b) Screaming Females are touring in April in the UK yessssss
