I had a question and I was thinking someone here would actually know...

I have DSL. I'm generally used to 150k downloads, but as of late they max at 40k no matter what. I called SBC and they sent someone out and he just put a filter on a line that apparently didn't have one. My 150k speeds resumed... for two days.

I've been back at 40k for weeks now. I have no clue what the problem is. Everything is filtered, I'm not running any weird programs... nothing.

Any ideas?

I gots my VDSL modem a few days back. First they said that it was 26Mbit, then they changed their minds to 13Mbit, and finally, in reality, I'm lucky if I get 6Mbit. ;(

There's nothing quite so annoying as seing leechers download stuff from you @ ~500-700k when You are stuck with ~200-400.
