Because they weren't sticking to his face, those were piercings.

I saw Ghostbusters for the first time when I was 2 or 3. I ****ing loved it, but the demon dogs scared me shitless. I don't think I ever was able to watch the librarian at the beginning. When she turns and screams I freaked out as a kid. Years later when I was 15, I saw the movie from the very beginning. I saw the librarian scene again and wondered what the hell I was so scared about as a kid. Then she did the scream and I jumped in my seat.

Even more so than the movie, I have the trailer etched into my soul by hundreds of 50p movie rentals when I was a kid.
 
Yes I am dirty, when I read the title I immediately though of busting a nut, so I came in to say,
"yes it does feel gooooood."

Did anyone play Ghostbusters when they were kids? Some friends and I took hiking backpacks, old telephone chords and flashlights, along with gray sweat pants and shirts, and made ourselves Ghostbuster uniforms. It was pretty awesome.

I was driven past that building in a taxi one night and started pointing and yelling to my friends, "LOOK, LOOK, IT'S THE GHOSTBUSTERS FIREHOUSE OH MY GOD GUYS IT WAS RIGHT THERE OH MY GOD LOOK." True story.

On a very much-related note, I'm nearly completion on my 6-month replica proton pack project to go along with my replica ghost trap. :D

Yes, those are working lights that you see there. :D I got them from a guy that specializes in proton pack light kits for prop fans.

This whole think started about a year ago for a photography project. The assignment was a "fantasy" shoot, so I came up with idea of a Ghostbusters theme. I had so much fun, I decided to go ahead and build the pack too after the assignment. Here's the original photo from my assignment last year (I made a 100):

Thanks. Yea, I am a nerd.... a nerd with a proton pack! :lol

I don't have an exact figure, but I figure somewhere around $400.

There are a ton of common items that make it up, including a pizza pan, pie pan, Pringles chips can, PVC pipe, and plywood. I'm working on the proton gun now. I looks kickbutt. :D
 
Dude that is friggin fantastic! I'd love to have one to hang in my room. Kudos x100.

I'd also love to visit the real firehouse, Im such a GB nerd. The cartoon series as brilliant too, like someone said the Samhain and the two Boogeyman episodes were great. The boogeyman in particular genuinely creeped me out when I was small.
