Wow, he included a picture of what it is exactly and doesn't appear at all to be misleading anyone so this seems rather inappropriate in my opinion.

If this is a good deck for beginners, then that's a good thing. Better to pay a cheap price to start the game and see if you enjoy it. I wouldn't go so far as to say it isn't worth it.

By "not worth it", he probably means "not worth it to anyone looking to buy the deck for the cards inside as opposed to strictly for collection purposes".

*edit* Wow, those decks only have 30 cards? Yikes. New players could just buy a starter deck of 60 cards from any store instead. The deck could still be worth it if you want to collect the sealed decks, though.

It's misleading because it's called the jace beleren deck, so some may assume that it would contain a Jace beleren card which is worth something. But it's just a 30 card promotional giveaway with no valuable cards. As to the poibnt of someone may want it for collecting purposes these decks can be easily found on ebay as a complete set of 5 for less that half of what he is asking. Click Again, I'm not saying he is trying to rip anyone off, I'm just trying to inform whoever is dumb enough to pay so much for whats worth so little.

I could care less about what someone's price for something is. If it's too high, hopefully folks will be wise to it and not buy it. If they do, it's their right to do so.

Checking to see if anyone would be interested in Hyperdimension Neptunia. Has outer box + art book (hasn't been cracked) and was only played once to check if it works properly. (Bought it from gamestop "new", but it was opened)

I think your 3DS bundle is awesome but as experience has taught me, bundling stuff usually means you will lose a ton of money in the process. So if you allow me the tip, if I were you, I'd sell all the stuff separatedly, not dirt cheap but with fair prices and that I believe is your best shot at getting the $275 you are looking for. The stuff you are putting in is definitely worth good money.

I hope you don't mind me saying this, just thought I might put it in here.

Sounds like the person may have paid via an e-check. I remember that back in the day, when folks paid that way, eBay/Paypal would hold the funds for a super ridiculous amount of time. I guess it makes you safer in the long run, but it's still inconvenient.

Yeah-- they do that for a lot of different kinds of electronics, because people dump so many stolen items onto eBay. :-\

as someone who uses the american and the german ebay on a regular basis, I can tell you the problem lies in the people.

the US ebay has a ton of fake stuff, misleading descriptions, outrageous shipping prices and many, many people are huge assholes. The german one in the other hand, is pretty efficient and all prices and fees seem kinda fair.. (my personal opinion and experience, of course.)

I just had someone threaten to leave me negative feedback if I didn't give him $10.00 back after he received the item.

He opened a case and claimed the item was 'damaged' and I fwd'ed his messages to ebay.

eBay's resolution? They refunded him the full value of the item under 'Buyer Protection'.

No loss to me, but it's terrible how people try to game the system.

I don't know, but it annoys the shit out of me and wastes everyone's time. This thread could be half the size if people stopped this behaviour and people might actually browse back 5 or 6 pages. As it is now, anyone browsing back 2-3 pages is just seeing the same dozen posts over and over again anyway.

Just because your previous post was third from the bottom on the previous page doesn't mean you should immediately repost.

I've had the opposite. A seller sends me a crappy not-as-described item, and if I want my money back, I have to return it on my own dime. Not worth spending $7 to return a $10 game. It's times like those that I am thankful the cheap bastard used first class mail so I can file an undelivered claim and get all my money back. I rarely have to resort to this, but when I do, it is totally warranted.

I had a situation where someone sold me faulty merchandise, admitted to it being faulty in the PayPal dispute and still PayPal only offered a refund on the grounds that I ship the item back to him on my dime. All I could do was leave the guy negative feedback on eBay and eat the cost.

Yeah I never understood why buyers have to pay for shipping things back when it's the fault of the seller the item wasn't as described.
