For the first question, yes. Second question...yes, you do have a right to specify your terms. The feedback list does a pretty good job at pointing out which members are dependable within the b/s/t community, so you can always use that as a resource. Most members who use this thread are pretty cool and easy to deal with anyway. Once in a while we do see a few transactions go sour, but it's not the norm.

I have someone who wants to trade me their Metal Gear Bundle model PS3 for my newer one from the Uncharted bundle (I want to catch up on some PS2 games).
I am keeping my hdd, they are keeping theirs...now...when I bought the one I have now I had an older one at that time and even though I did back up it was a pain in the ass and I lost 99% of my saves and whatnot because they were bound.

Is there a way around this?
If not I will just buy a cheap PS2

I traded in my 60GB PS3 because honestly, the damn fan was too loud. Get a cheap PS2 or use PCSX2.
