To be perfectly honest, I don't really have anything against this sort of game being made: it's a free market, make what you want within the bounds of the law. If it ends up being in poor taste, so what, it'll get ridiculed and people will move on.

My concern is that it's going to be used as a vehicle by the developers to drive some saccharine "multiculturalism is beautiful, diversity is our strength, you have absolutely nothing to fear from Muslims, we're your neighbors and everybody just wants to peacefully coexist^^!!" type of message as if there isn't a huge proportion of Muslims in the US/Canada/Australia and especially Europe that support Hamas and other Islamist terrorist organizations, that stay silent on the many atrocities perpetrated by their fellow Muslims in these countries, and that want to see sharia implemented in place of their host country's legal system. Sure, this game would barely get any attention regardless, but the Western world is absolutely inundated with "the message" disseminated by crooked politicians, mass media, the education system, and the TV/film industry. Could well be that we start seeing video games as the next mode of transmission of leftist propaganda specifically as it relates to religious/multicultural tolerance.

Folks are free to make whatever they see fit. What a day in my and others life, though. Joined the Marines August 14th of that year because I was let go from construction and couldn't find a job to support my family. I was supposed to ship out to San Diego on September 12th.

Wife went into labor early on September 11th and was down at her moms when the first aircraft hit, I was taking care of my other two children and she called to tell me my grandmother was in the living room and a plane had hit a New York skyscraper. I walked out of my kids room she was saying someone was attacking us she thought, my wife came home and said that our son was going to come early.

I called my recruiter and all flights had been canceled. I remember people were scared and we were driving to Champaign, Illinois to covenant hospital. The gas stations were packed with folks getting gas, news was spreading by mouth everywhere with people listening to their car radios.

My wife held on till 1247 AM on September 12th, I left for boot camp three days later and spent the next 15 years in and out of the Middle East and the Horn of Africa. Never got to serve during peace time.

What memories folks must still have of that day. Still feels like yesterday.
A lot of "me me me" in this post, but not a lot of reflection on Pakistani cafes.

You know what's weird, in the US as well as the UK
Muslims was literally the definition of a minority, you barely ever saw one.
Now they're everywhere, yet according to statistics the population only increased 4% since then.
As for this? Only in 2025.

Damn, man. That's staying strong. Between kids, wife going to labor and signing up for Marines just as the wars hit :(.

I was down in DC working as a contractor in a government building when the planes hit and we saw that on a TV in the common room that had CNN on.

Everyone freaked out and then Pentagon got hit. All buildings were evacuate and we basically were all stuck outside with nowhere to go.

Metro was stopped, bridges from DC were closed. Cell phone device barely worked and only texts came through and that not well.

I was trying to reach one of my best friends as he was working in NYC near the Towers and only got a hold of him in the evening as he and his family were thankfully alright.

So yeah, also remember that day quite clearly.

I'm sorry but the trailer with the close up of the main characters face and the shitty graphics, combined with the absolutely tone deaf and weird music just made me bust out laughing. Like wtf is this piece of donkey doo doo. This has to be a parody game because otherwise i don't get it.

The pan to the calendar revealing that it's 9/11 is pure comedy. If the game's title hadn't spoiled it I would've burst out laughing.

They were some very, very interesting polls taken after 9/11 of Muslims. I remember them clear as day but if you try to find them online now it's like looking for a needle in a haystack.
I lost multiple close family friends on the plane that hit the Petagon. I was at work in Alexandria when it was hit, and my dad was working for American Airlines at Dulles airport. He knew the entire flight crew. One of them was the first non-family member to visit me at the hospital when I was born. She brought me my first toy (which I still have.)

I don't remember the polls, but I DO remember video of Muslims in other countries celebrating on 9/11. You probably can't find that online easily anymore either.

F*ck this game.

So eh... is this a flight sim?
Not really, its a strategy and resource management simulator, as a small cafe owner your goal is to recruit other like minded people in order to make a stand against america. You will carry out meetings and build up your skills, knowledge and money in order to fully execute your master plan or get caught in the process.
