When is the medical marijuana gonna actually be legal in Florida? I have terrible insomnia and weed always helps me sleep

Notable amendment 2 florida dates:

Florida dept Health has until july 2017 to pass regulations.

October 2017 state must start registering growers and dispensaries and id cards.

I smoked a bit when I was younger but honestly stopped due to the legality. I didn't want to go to jail for something I did on random social occasions. I didn't want my judgemental family to mark me as a convicted drug user over it.

I know nothing about what conditions are improved other than epilepsy, but my wife looked at me with a huge smile and said "congrats".

I'll take it as I'm about to become a pothead and now I can't be judged.

I would actually recommend getting you feet wet smoking first

You can ease into it better - first timers often have bad experiences on edibles

Tincture can really be all over the place. I'd recommend vaping, or make some capsules with extract and coconut oil (they are strong and absorb quickly because of the saturated fat in the oil)

For all our celebration of this one good thing to come out of this election cycle, this is a very real possibility. There's still plenty of money in the drug war budget left over from obama's administration. All trump has to do is increase the budget even a little and it's back to the year 2000 we go.

Good advice. You could also start with a clone if there is a club near you. Backyard growing season is pretty over though, the days are too short for vegetation and it's gonna get cold. You can do indoor growing.

It's been stated more than once in this thread that that's very unlikely to happen. O'Reilly had Trump on his show and they got into an argument over it - Trump is for medicinal marijuana and thinks that how it's handled recreationally should be up to individual states.

It's like the one thing we probably don't have to worry about under a Trump presidency.

Yep. I've been off weed for ~3 months now while looking for work during a hiatus, it's been fuckin hell but a few nights ago I got drunk for the first time in quite a while and I felt like total shit the next day. As far as I'm concerned weed is orders of magnitude better than alcohol. The only time I've gotten "hung over" from weed was when I tried a piece of a Black Bar and I will never, ever, ever do that again.
