And some people why some people feel it’s justified to go sailing the seven seas when this stupidity & greed happens.
You guys can cool down now.
With Jim Ryan in charge I wouldnt be surprised at all.So maybe this is considered console warring here but... is it just coincidence they worked with Sony on this game and then went so hard on this season pass stuff? Now that Sony is pivoting to focus largely on their own f2p/microtransaction/service games i hope this isn't a hint of things to come from Sony. "Yeah guys we will let you use our big state of the art mo-cap studios but we want you to go big with the season pass/dlc stuff and then give us a bigger cut" ... nah probably not.
What’s his excuse for putting fucking HARD MODE in the season pass??I like the guy. He comes as a good leader with good video game knowledge in interviews. So I believe him.
One gripe (general) is that I don’t like calling buyers fans. The game has no fans yet
I didn’t even read that part. I don’t care for hard modes. Only streamers play these. What’s his excuse for putting fucking HARD MODE in the season pass??
I don't think people are frustrated about how much value there is in the season pass it's about the fact that they're monetizing something as fundamental to the game as an animation, what's next? Textures? Why is everyone focusing on the additional death animations? Looks like the DLC is beefier than just that?
The Callisto Protocol’s season pass includes new player death animations | VGC
The survival horror game has been marketed on its gory death sequences…www.videogameschronicle.com
The full Season Pass content is as follows:
b….b…but you have to or……Meh this doesn’t deter me from buying the game as it looks great. I just won’t spend money on the season pass. Simple as that.
Imagine locking animations behind a season pass. Utterly pathetic.
How embarrassing for these devs.
Some of you need to breathe. The outrage is borderline embarrassing at this point. If half the game was DLC, then fine. But relax a little.
I has become default way for games get some attention.Had a feeling there would be some big controversy with this game eventually.
now....And this is how publishers ruin a potentially great game.
They deserve to fail but most likely they won't. The game's hype and potential high quality will brute force through all this crap and become a huge success anyway. With this particular game publishers know they can get away with a bit more. They are evil and they are smart.
I bought season pass for both Xenoblade 3 and Mario + Rabbits 2, both also single player games. If the DLC quality is good then I don’t see anything wrong with it.Anyway, don't see what's bad about Season Pass

people on internet and in social media just loves to quirky react and hot takes without knowing full story, which exactly happened with Bayonetta 3 controversy.
Imagine coming into an enthusiast gaming forum and really saying that with a straight face...especially for a genre like survival horror...I didn’t even read that part. I don’t care for hard modes. Only streamers play these.
Maybe they want to make it special? Like remove all hud and so on
enthusiast gaming forum
Imagine not trying to come out as hardcore.Imagine coming into an enthusiast gaming forum and really saying that with a straight face...especially for a genre like survival horror...
The genre itself should be played on hard with few ammo and not like a gears clone, nothing hardcore about it.Imagine not trying to come out as hardcore.
I play games for other reasons. I don’t play for challenge. I don’t need to challenge myself overly
I can see Schofield being very upset at IGN for jumping the gun on that news and then not taking it down after his statement.
He's now trying his best to respond to every such tweet.
What do you mean? All of the Cyberpunk patches have been totally free.Like The Witcher 3? Cyberpunk? The Last of Us?
There's no problem with SP in singleplayer games.
They dont have the content ready to ship with the game, and even if they had, maybe the content in the game is already worth of $70
