It's a pretty damn good show. More ScreenSavers-ish than the former CFH was with Pirillo/Laporte on TechTV.

I'm happy for Leo to be back on the air in the US, yet I am saddened that it's on G4.

this has been on forever in canada. andy walker is pretty embarassing. but they are starting to get kevin rose on regularly now, which is cool.

I'm curious. Do you have a special cable package where a G4 representative comes to your house, holds a gun to your head and makes you watch the "Whip Set"?
 
I've been a fan of his ever since his show on MSNBC, so this will definitely be going into my Tivo's schedule.

Now all G4 needs to do is bring The Screen Savers back. The real show, not this "Attack of the Show" bullshit.

From what I've heard about Amber Mac she is Sarah Lane's replacement in more than one way. (Although I assume thats what the *cough* was for.)

As for Andy Walker, was he the dude who was co-hosting Patrick Norton's new thing, Digital Life? If so.. that guy can be annoying as all hell and seems to know jack shit about technology. Ditch him as soon as possible.

Looking forward to the return though.. although yeah.. the time frame they are airing it in kind of sucks. Thats G4 for you though.

All G4 is doing is buying the episodes from G4TechTV Canada. The funny thing is that he'll continue to fly up to Toronto to film this and that Kevin Rose will be joining him 8 shows a month.

I havn't watched Attack of the Show in months, so maybe this is no longer true, but the last time I did manage to catch that show and sit through it, Sarah had maybe one two minute segment on tech news. And that was it. She had a few commments from that stupid couch during other segments, but she was being entirely under used and she looked bored as hell.

Nothing like a business trip to cover the costs of flying up to be with your new flame. Can't blame the guy, but it is pretty funny just how much of a substitute she can be considered.

God does Dvorak's plugging get awfully annoying. It doesn't bother me when Patrick or Kevin do it, because they mention it once and drop it. With Dvorak, its like every other sentence out of his mouth is plugging his blog, or his column... And its so obvious and half the time he comes off as extremely condecending. "Oh, I already talked about this issue at length in my blog.."

:: sigh :: But I just don't like Dvorak so that might be part of the problem.

I think Dvorak is the most disconnected 'information technology' pundit in the industry. He's 9 times out of 10 out in left field ranting about something without even knowing what the hell he's talking about.

Leo has little say in how the show is sold internationally. It's not as though he's running TechTV Canada, he's just their employee and they can sell their programming to whomever they wish. Hell, Leo's gone on the record as not liking G4 on his TWIT Podcast.

KRose and Amber were a "thing" before Kevin left AOTS. The birthday pic posted above was the week before he left AOTS.

20 minutes in to the first show...appears to be sometime in late spring/early summer. :X. I hope once the show gets going they'll catch up with the canadian eps that are no older than 1 month I think at a time.
