No idea if it’s a mistake or not, but I would assume not?Makes me wonder if its a mistake and will be patched put soon

if you turn of 120hz, how are you getting any benefits of above 60 frames?Yep, just turn off 120 in the settings and that’s it - it defaults to 60hz graphics, and the newest patch uncapped frame rates for that mode on the Pro.
Its essentially an uncapped quality mode.if you turn of 120hz, how are you getting any benefits of above 60 frames?
I still don't understand, if the system is at 60hz, it doesn't matter visually if it's rendering more frames, you will never see them. Its essentially an uncapped quality mode.
I tested it on TDM on a small map- LG TV is saying between 73fps to about 90 max FPS. Not ideal for a twitch shooter but i’d play the campaign that way.
My readout is seeing them. And I killed VRR to test it- locked 60 without VRR active.I still don't understand, if the system is at 60hz, it doesn't matter visually if it's rendering more frames, you will never see them.
If I set my screen to 60hz but uncap the framerate/no vsync, it will report tons of frames, but that doesn't mean they are being drawn on the screen, because it will only update at 60hz.My readout is seeing them. And I killed VRR to test it- locked 60 without VRR active.
I think they forgot to cap the mode for VRR tvs- which is the best case.
What screen? If I set my screen to 60hz but uncap the framerate/no vsync, it will report tons of frames, but that doesn't mean they are being drawn on the screen, because it will only update at 60hz.
I can see this working on a series x because you can set the system to 120hz, so the extra uncapped frames should be visible, but on ps5 there isn't a system wide 120hz toggle, so disabling 120hz in-game should have it update at 60hz.
My display is picking up the frames between 90 and 110ish with the 120hz mode disabledI still don't understand, if the system is at 60hz, it doesn't matter visually if it's rendering more frames, you will never see them.
MP or campaign? My Pro isn’t getting anywhere near thatMy display is picking up the frames between 90 and 110ish with the 120hz mode disabled
any?What screen?
So the ps5 version is just always in 120hz mode? Sounds like the toggle is just a graphical setting then instead. My display is picking up the frames between 90 and 110ish with the 120hz mode disabled
What screen/TV are you running?any?

The screen doesn't matter, if the system is set at 60hz that's what it will update at.What screen/TV are you running?
If you set Xbox to 120hz, it will duplicate frames. PS does not do that. Games with a hard 60fps cap will report as so.The screen doesn't matter, if the system is set at 60hz that's what it will update at.
PS5 doesn't have a system wide 120hz toggle, if you enable 120hz on a PS5 then the game decides to switch to it if it supports it; again the screen doesn't matter, if the system is set to 60hz, you won't see more than 60 frames. If you set Xbox to 120hz, it will duplicate frames. It's not normally this slowthe update is faster if you don't subscribe to game pass?
I think the disconnect here is having the enable 120 fps mode on at the system level but turning off 120 fps mode in game settingsI still don't understand, if the system is at 60hz, it doesn't matter visually if it's rendering more frames, you will never see them.
Thats what im saying. Hence that my readouts on my TV are accurate when it comes to the PS5.PS5 doesn't have a system wide 120hz toggle, if you enable 120hz on a PS5 then the game decides to switch to it if it supports it; again the screen doesn't matter, if the system is set to 60hz, you won't see more than 60 frames.
This is what I'm getting tooMy display is picking up the frames between 90 and 110ish with the 120hz mode disabled
Yeah it sounds likely the toggle on ps5 ia forcing the game on 120hz mode, and the setting in-game just being a graphical setting toggle, instead of actually disabling 120hz.I think the disconnect here is having the enable 120 fps mode on at the system level but turning off 120 fps mode in game settings
what platform?
PS5 doesn't have a system wide 120hz toggle, if you enable 120hz on a PS5 then the game decides to switch to it if it supports it; again the screen doesn't matter, if the system is set to 60hz, you won't see more than 60 frames.
Did you cancel the update? You can't cancel updates on series x, it deletes the entire game.Xbox

Otherwise it sounds like the update shit the bed for some reason and just decided to replace everything
all those guns with the rgb colors just look like glorified nerf guns anyway tbhThe Blackcell Assault Rifle (the goblin molten bullet thingy) is absolutely pitiful.
I swear, they introduce these amazing looking guns but make them useless.

Deffo feels like a step back in some respects. Its way too easy to pick up stuff you don't want off the ground but harder to interact with other stuff at the same time. Needs tweeking for sure but i get where they are going with things. Nothing that some feedback and tweeking wont sort out. But feels more like 2.0 atm, in a bad way imo.Loving the new warzone map and mechanics exceeeept it feels like it takes longer to plate up and i have to hold the button down for way too long to interact with things, pick up a gun or item on the ground, open a loot chest etc. Several people I played with had same complaint.
Disappointing they cut 200cp from it, but the bp shouldn't really be a grind, if you only play during the few double xp periods that should be enough to complete the whole thing. So no buffer. If you want to keep a battlepass going without paying, prepare to grind.
Yea the goblin is terrible. I’m really struggling to get dark matter on it (get 5 kills without dying 3 times). The Blackcell Assault Rifle (the goblin molten bullet thingy) is absolutely pitiful.

It’s 300 points they’ve cut from it in total (and 200 obtainable cut from the BP without completing it).Disappointing they cut 200cp from it, but the bp shouldn't really be a grind, if you only play during the few double xp periods that should be enough to complete the whole thing.
It hits like a wet noodle, is slow and handles appallingly.Yea the goblin is terrible. I’m really struggling to get dark matter on it (get 5 kills without dying 3 times).
Yeah- LG C1.I'm assuming you have a VRR panel? Otherwise locked 60hz is probably better for the campaign
