I dont know. I think most competitive players wouldnt be caught dead without Dead Silence. I dont see any other useful perk in that category, except awareness.
Blast Supressor is my go-to in respawn modes. In CTF for flanking or if the enemy team relies on soundwhoring Dead Silence (for search of course mandatory). Tac mask can be essential, in Hardpoint it is usually for the hill player. Have you experienced getting flashbanged? At first I thoght I ran into shock mines due to the visual effect, flashs are really powerfull in this game

Blast suppressor is surprisingly useful. I love gently boosting after someone instead of running. Since it's impossible to hear me coming that way

Because I just prestiged I can't continue with my progress on the Man O War, but the M8 is still really good even after the nerf.

Without a grip the M8 also feels like a headshot machine.

Ghost is not very good in this game. You're better off using the point for a launcher and taking down UAV as it comes up.

Dead silence is good but keep in mind competitive players play at a much slower pace than pubs. In pubs not running DS won't really hurt you that much. (I didn't run DS until late into my third prestige and I did OK)

I think of the two, awareness is stronger than DS if you play slow. I'm a huge fan of blast suppressor too mainly because I boost a lot and whenver dudes don't run blast suppressor against me I body them
Nah I think if you want to remain off the radar then you need Ghost because by the time you're alerted to the UAV and you find it the chances are you've been sweeped once or twice. In addition when you fire off your launcher you're dotted on the map.

Furthermore you may find yourself in areas and situations were you can't stop to take things down.

I like to run both Ghost and a launcher as it means I can stay fully off-radar, so long as I'm moving obviously, and I can have a rest if needed by pausing to take it down, which will also benefit my team mates.

Got 4 motherships today, 3 from Combine lol.

Only needed 1 more quad feed for Master Killer

Went on a 7 rapid kills and still didn't got it.

Atleast i got a dark ops challenge from it.

These lag issues, at least in Europe, are getting ridiculous now. It has been almost two months from release and it's still a huge issue. Almost every lobby is a lagfest when it's prime time, and now that it's Christmas and there is huge traffic, even some less common hours are becoming lagfests.

Basically: when lots of people are playing, this game starts to lag hard. There seems to be no method at all to avoid it. It's absolutely unplayable during lag hours too, can't even wallrun because you suddenly rewind backwards into the air where you fall.

I have never seen a FPS where so many games have ppl pulling 0-fers. We're not talking Johnny 0-5, no, its Johnny 0-18 holy shit go hide in a fucking corner and try to stop dying for TEN SECONDS. Thanks for wasting my 32-6 game.

I am trying to think if that is better or worse than the guys I saw today with 20-60.

Thank you, Christmas noobs. :)

Playing too much in Hardcore is killing me now playing Core.

I keep halting my fire thinking they'd be dead and keep going to butt/knife people expecting it to be a one hit kill.

The Vesper might be the most ridiculous gun I've used in an online FPS in a long time.

Love that gun. It's my go-to weapon when playing in a GAF lobby.

LOL, awesome! Need to try this.

This was when I got that quad kill

This was how everyone felt yesterday. If I could, I would photoshop the fists so it looks like you're giving the mothership the middle finger, haha

Downloading to Xbox One but won't be able to play until late on tomorrow.

None of my friends are playing it. Just join a few random matches see how it goes.

No way in hell is that thing better. Basically has a charge up and otherwise no range. Among the worst specialist weapons.

I thought the same after using them back to back because I was charging the sparrow for every shot but half charge goes mid range and you can spam them in close/mid range. It's basically a noob tube that can be converted into a shitty annihilator. Don't go for pierce shots on every shot and it becomes pretty damn good. It's definitely growing on me.

This game seems bugged I've tried loads of times to get the five kills on the ICR camo challenge. Its hard enough to get five kills in the first place but there not even registering. Its driving me crazy I hate the gun and I just want to get all the diamond camos.

All five kills need to come from the ICR. It totally works.

I mostly did it in hardcore because then the low damage becomes less of an issue.
