How do i get nuketown? I entered the code but so far i never played nuketown online and it's not in the list in custom games.

did you download it though? When you have it it is in the "bonus" playlist.

Is it normal for this to take THIS long to install on PS4? It's been like an hour and it's still installing.

It is 50 gigs or so, just start the game and you will see the progress bar with progress on individual modules.

Been playing smgs all this time, but I'm starting to realize that this appears to be a AR game

Question, it says that suppressor takes away two bars of distance, and long barrel adds two. If I had those two would it theoretically cancel each other out and my gun it's back to normal?

Does making the second controller sign in as a 'guest' in the PS4 user selection screen work (assuming you're talking about the PS4 version)?

Sorry, talking about the Live version. Apparently you can create an account and play that way, but that's the entire premise of the Guest system. I think it's just broken.

Theoretically yes. But I always take those bars with a grain of salt, as it's just seems to be a rough outline. Like adding an red dot sight, increases accuracy by 2, but it really doesn't.

It's better to use different combos of guns and attachments, and find what's best for you. Everyone likes different variations. I never look at those stats in depth.

What's the word on the Bone version? PC version's performance is scaring me off, and I don't feel like resubbing for Plus in December.

I still have another year of Gold, and I'm hoping that version isn't too bad.

Edit: Shocked I couldn't find a face off article.

Can someone give me detailed thoughts on the maps and spawning?

How do you feel about 3 lane maps compared to older styled maps from COD?

It makes the game very easy for new players, you always know where the enemy is coming from. Especially here where it's basically hallways and walk-in-closets everywhere. It's the same reason Treyarch lowers the footstep noise, they want this to be a rusher's game because frankly that's what the community wants. I like it for the fast paced style CoD but eventually it gets repetitive and predictable and I go back to an earlier game. It sucks because I'm in the minority that liked the design in MW2 and Ghosts, where you have to actively try to stay alive as much as you have to try to get kills.

3 lane maps are the old styled maps. AW and Ghosts changed that, and it sucked.

AW was 3 lane

Did PC ranked revert to P2P? I am seeing analyzing match X of Y. Just like the P2P message on all the other COD games.

Actually, I'm finding it to be the opposite for me. I like to slide and jump around corners and make myself a hard target to hit like in AW. My kd is 3.20 and spm is 360 in TDM just as proof that it's doable. I didn't do well in the first few hours as I was learning the map and finding the best rush routes and try to close the gap on the line of sights so that it's within my SMG's range to dominate. If you have fast reaction times, good aim, and a good connection, rushing is totally doable as a solo player. The crap thing about rushing in this game is that most of the maps are medium sized and unlike AW you can't traverse at lightning speed which means that sometimes you'll be running around looking for enemies and get shot in the back. With AR I feel really slow in this game, but who knows, maybe I'll find an AR I like in this game.

Campaign is pretty fucked for me on PC. Finished the first mission, only to find that I can't dismiss the mission complete screen where it shows all the stuff you unlocked. Only option I have is to save and quit. Resuming campaign from there restarts the first mission. The fuck?

I have the option of starting a new campaign from the second mission, but resuming my current run always forces me to play the first mission again.

FFA spawning is trash. Spawning a meter in front of someone camping, starting the match in the same room as someone (literally looking them in the eye, and continually spawning several people within range of each other. Why is that stuff even possible on the larger maps?

At least you can talk. Who are you?
Ehmm, WaW and BO are also not very modern when it comes to zombies. WaW is also 40s and BO are 60s.

Sorry, I meant classic in terms of gameplay. Like, I know zombies has gotten better since WaW/BO but I loved that really small map design with various paths. Not really a fan of having to collect all this stuff, turn into a beast and do things etc.

I know most people probably think I'm being pedantic but I'm just not enjoying zombies as much as I used to. Kino der Toten and Der Riese were my jam.

You have to be MVP on the winning team. You'll do the taunt in the Winners Circle

Just out of curiosity as I havent played black ops since the first one and even then it was just for Zombies.

are the hidden items for the Songs still a thing? not sure if they were in black ops 2 swell as I never played it and skipped it.

I know what you mean. I haven't really touched zombies since Black Ops 1. I had much more fun in Der Riese, Verruckt, and Kino der Toten then I did with most of the other maps introduced after those. Moon was iffy but I still had fun, but once BO2 rolled around with Green Run all those additions and changes to the core gameplay of Nazi Zombies I stopped playing it and buying the map packs. I haven't played Shadows of Evil yet but I can pretty much guess what that's going to be like.

I think it's best to just go for the common ones. I mean, if you're already close to 30 then go ahead, try your luck. But for the most part I think everyone agrees that 10 is better.

Just unlocked this head. Looks pretty cool.

So I just tried Zombies.. man Zombies really has changed, hasn't it? Granted, I havn't played Zombies religiously since the BO1 days. Kino der Toten... practically memorized that map and all the little tricks with my friends. Change is probably for the better, I suppose. In BO/WaW it was more of a fun little side addition, but lately, more and more does it seem just as a legitimate game mode as the multiplayer.

Why is there such a strange lack of ambiance in the cutscenes? Like, when there's a bunch of action going on, it's really quiet for some reason.

I have no idea what **ANY** of the mechanics in Zombies are.

Gumballs, why I should buy them, why should I unlock gates, what the point of the Beast mode is and when can I use it, where weapons are and how buying them works, how revives work, how to "progress" in the mode... Anything!
