Is it "open beta" as in open beta, or "pre order the game and get access to open beta" open beta?

So nowhere as the semi aim-bot is present in consoles cheating for all players making they think they are good at aiming.
Rather have aimbot that being wallhacked abd soft-aimed, the cheating on PC is much more rampant and advanced it's ridiculous. I've seen flying cars beaming people from the sky ffs!
It’s cross platform so…😂 enjoy your low res 120 fps mode or 60 fps
Don't worry, I have my crossplay off. I could easily enjoy high res and high frams on my beast PC but I rather have low ress 120 fps than cheaters every fucking day.

The cod landscape allows all consoles today so many people play cod all day long in the worst way possible and that’s disturbing through betas we’ll learn about the game and the experiences.

I rarely see anyone. MW 2019 I don't remember seeing one. Typical people that never touch the games on PC coming here and "OH MY GOD, FULL OF CHEATERS! UNPLAYABLE!!!"

Cheating on console is starting to get worse than on PC. On PC it's mostly streamers cheating in Warzone and getting caught doing so.

Ricochet really helped the PC cheater situation, but since Activision can't ban people using the Chronos scripts and devices (anyone banned files a complaint saying they need it for accessibility and Activision bends over backwards to apologize) and Ricochet can't do anything about them, there are actually MORE cheaters on consoles now than PC.

I love the way this segues from the breakdown of our society to a curious optimism for the upcoming content.
Thematically rich post, highly recommended.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?

The X in the event logo is literally using the Series X design.

A hint of something maybe ?

That's not exactly how the X logo looks like, just MWII branding. Look at the trademark notice below, no mention of it. On the other hand, why tf would you announce this now for Sept 15th like anyone's gonna remember?

I thought we were gonna get gameplay today to get people hyped for the beta release which is still a month away.

A hint that it has timed beta on playstation?

The event is about the future of the franchise. The timed exclusive marketing deal has been announced and known for a long while now.

They cant really mention anything that would be effected by the acquisition/buy out so im not really sure what you expect

I'm not expecting anything in particular, just pointing the oddity that they chose to use a logo almost 1 : 1 to a brand that's in the middle of acquiring them.

Like Mana said above, if the deal closes before, we could probably get something like Phil being in the presentation to lay out the future roadmap.

Too early to speculate though.

Didn't preorder yet because I wanted to buy it on steam. But if I still need battle net to access the game on steam, it means I am just doing extra work for nothing by going to steam first then it will open battle net.. which is horrible .

However if the game starts on steam and all I need is just user name and password of my Activision account inside the game without the need of battle net then I am going to buy it on steam no question asked as I hate battle net.

Just waiting for actual confirmation on this as no one knows how this will actually work

Master race is where there are no cheaters!
If that's the case, then I am better than the average cheater cus I am often in top 3, being number 1 most of the matches.

I'd say the auto aiming is so aggressive with a controller that I consider it aimbot.

I never cheated on pc, but I play with a Xim keyboard and mouse and totally dominates controller play 9 out of 10 times.
I just cant play fps with a controller.

You don’t need XIM as the game supports mouse and keyboard out of the box. Using XIM in this case is very much a grey area for me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, if you use a converter like XIM on a FPS game with aim assist support for controllers, you will be having a mouse aim + aim assist. I think you can disable aim assist but most players that use converters usually enable this to take advantage of their aim.

If you use a mouse and keyboard aimbot aim assist is switched off, if you use XIM you get the accuracy of M/KB with the snap of Aim assist, you are basically unstoppable.

Theres still a lot of games that doesn't support keyboard and mouse though, but true. I bought it 4 years ago where almost no game supported keyboard and mouse.

Steam master race preordered lets go!
Same here.
Hopefully we won't have to deal with Battle net, but i highly doubt it.

Sill playing MW2019 to this day, it was the best and the last good COD. Only IW can make good COD games.

Agreed on MW2019 being great but the last BLOPS was also good, if a step back due to being on the old engine.

And these places like WalMart and Gamestop sell these devices right next to the controllers and people I know that use them or variations of them say they wouldn't be legal to use if they these places didn't sell them
Pretty certain you cannot buy a Cronus at Walmart or Gamestop.....

100% guarantee my local Gamestop in Indiana has the Cronus Zen hanging next to the controllers along with the Strike Pack a device that can also be purchased at WalMart

Marina bay map preview

I'm pretty disappointed by the visuals here. Maybe it's my rose-tinted glasses of nostalgia but MW2019 maps looked better, more realistic. Here everything is weirdly plasticky, shadow LOD pops up, etc.

Ok I am wrong, apparently you can buy this everywhere now.
What makes me hate these devices even more is the fact I have had more than one talk about them while gaming with Mike Ybarra while he was still with Xbox and he said Xbox could 100% see that people were using these devices and cheating but Xbox management would never take a stand against them and wanted to leave them up to each game developers to decide what they wanted to do against them on a per game basis

Pretty frustrating Xbox knows (I would assume Sony does as well) that people were cheating in MP games but wouldn't do anything about it

I have shared that here a few times along with watching my nephews using the Strike Pack and using the paid mods on their PS4 along with their other cheating friends

Things like using single shot DMRs in full auto mode with no recoil or full auto shotguns with no recoil
