I'm working on a project, more specifically that wizard game that I've got a thread about over at the gaming forum, and I need a bit of help.

Currently, when you die, I've got it playing a bit of greensleeves which I think goes well. Unfortunately, the sound file I'm using isn't of the greatest quality and I'd rather have a guitar playing it.

You'll notice, it sounds 'sad'. That's the best way I can describe it. I really like how it sounds, but unfortunately the quality isn't the best.

I'm hoping someone here can record themselves playing this on guitar for me. If you can, I'd like you to try and get it to sound sad as well. I've included two tabs that start off with the basic music for it, but I'm no musician so I don't know how goo the tabs actually are.

I just recorded it on guitar. It's kind of rough, but you are welcome to have it. Do you want it in stereo or with some surround encoding or whatever?

I'm not much for chord strumming, so I think I'll post a clean and high electric sound just for shits and giggles.

I'd just like some different interpretations of it, and they have to sound 'sad'. Take that as you will.

Sorry, I don't have a good enough microphone to record my nylon-stringed classical (which I think would have sounded pretty good), or my regular acoustic, so I just plugged my electric into my sound card via a cable from the headphone jack on the amp and a 1/4>1/8" adapter. Yeah, pretty ghetto.

Anyway, I just wanted to do it for fun. I don't think it would fit into your project's theme

Give me a few days (still waiting on my gear to get here in the mail) and I'll try and throw something up if I have time (midterms this week so time is short).
