So since real-world use has clearly shown the Gamespot report of 90 minute battery life to be an out and out lie and disregard for journalistic integrity, could, and should Sony sue Gamespot for libel and possible defamation for spreading inaccurate information about their products. It's obviously intentional because they have yet to correct the information.

You can sue anybody for anything, anywhere, and at any time.

What you proposed wouldn't fly in court, these type of mistakes happen quite often. There is a possibility of their test unit's battery malfunctioning and they didn't realize it.

Wrong. This can only be done in the States. ;)
Yes and Gamespot is in the US, I went ahead with the assumption that the lawsuit would be filed in the US.

I'm already well aware of our crazy legal system, hee hee.

I'm serious, I mean look at that retarded thread about the "Gamespot says 90 minutes!!!" crap. After NUMEROUS people in the thread pointed out all the imperical evidence by people that OWN PSP's that show gamespot's numbers to be complete and utter nonsense you still have the bots in there going "90 MINUTES OMGWTF!!!" Gamespot is spreading inaccurate information.
