That's weird. It should just be a company wide thing. Did you call them and ask, or actually try it? Cuz the $10 thing isn't an offer it's just new trade in values

But the $10 minimum isn't a promotion in their system. It's just that they set all the values to $10, which allows other promotions to work. If they had properly added it as a promotion, that would've stopped the promotion stack, but they didn't.

Thanks for the heads up on EB guys, brought in 7 games and got 200$, between these and the other Wii U games I traded in for 2x credit, I have 400$ in total - pretty sure that pays for all my Switch games this year! Amazing.

Sweet , I traded 29 games in and got 580$.
Got double the value when u pre ordered some switch games. When ever eb receives a new orderof switch systems I can transfer my pre ordered games over to pay for switch. Some highlight games I traded in. NBA live 14, madden 25, ac games , the walking dead season 2, titenfall 1, NHL 15 , pinball arcade , MLB the show 14 and 15, angry birds Star Wars and others.Great deal as long as I can get my games transferred over to pay switch. I really don't want the games I pre ordered

I traded in 6 games at EB to pay off for MK8 Deluxe. I received double credit for all 6 games, which totaled $230, and the dude just put the remaining balance on my Edge card. I didn't expect that.

I should have traded for a cheaper Switch related item, and picked up MK8 from Amazon with the prime discount. lol

People reporting some stores making up rules on the spot (something about halving credit if moving off switch preorder and min $12 value to get doubled up....who knows if it's true).

Haha reading that thread, it was my first thought too, like 5 different conversations at once.

If they are indeed changing the double credit towards everything Switch promo to a minimum $12 before doubling then they've cut off the all those $10 PS4/X1 titles.

Lol, I traded in my NHL 15 today too. $10 dollars for that garbage. I just used all my credit to fully pay off RDR 2 since it was no tax either if you apply to a preorder.

this minimum 10 credit deal does not require you to trade in for wii stuffs right? Thats a separate promo? I want to trade in old ass games like Ryse, Wolfenstien and MGS ground zero.

DS3 controllers are trading for $20? Maaaaan, I traded like 4 of them for $8 a few months back. No regrets since there's just no way I could've known. But damn. If only I could see into the future...

Figured they would nip that $10x2 for Switch stuff in the bud pretty quick. Getting $20 credit for games like Ass Creed Unity and Ryse is almost criminal.

Reminder of the old blockbuster trade in days. Any 4 towards a new release. The EB down the street ran out of old sports games.

Heads up: mario sports 3ds is not reviewing well. Cancel those preorders while you still can.

The amount of scalpers is so sad though. I see so many ad's where people are like: "I picked up an extra one or I got it for someone but they got one already so I have to get rid of it". Y'know, you could easily just return the damn thing but nooo, we all know you're in it for the profit. :\

Damn I hope they let me double my trade in values for Switch stuff. Even still, getting $10 for some of the games Might be better off selling on Kijiji otherwise (I don't have old sports games sadly).

What's encouraging is they don't seem to be making much off the consoles. Seeing a lot listed for $500 or thereabouts

All that hassle for $50 bucks

My younger brother sold his extra for $550 and sold it very easily.

He wasn't buying extras to scalp, he pre-ordered two of them just in case something happened to an order on launch, and it did. Both Amazon and Best Buy were days late on the delivery so he ended up getting one launch morning at a local Walmart. I bought one of the online orders from him at cost.

Never saw any, all retailers I went to (BB, EB Games) only had plastic protectors.

Went the Amazon route before having my Switch, still don't have mine (Orzly), scheduled around March 24th-April 10th. Already scratched my Switch and sold it. :(

I'll be waiting for a restock and then I'll be fully equipped with my tempered glass and carrying case right out of the box.
