Capcom: ingresos y ventas récord gracias a Monster Hunter
Capcom presenta resultado con unas cifras récord por octavo año consecutivo gracias al lanzamiento de Monster Hunter Wilds

Capcom also highlighted that, for the tenth straight year, it has achieved operating income growth exceeding 10%.
Specifically, Capcom closed the previous fiscal year with net sales of ¥169,604 million (€1,031 million), up 11.3% year-on-year; operating income of ¥65,777 million (€400 million), up 10.5%; and net income of ¥48,453 million (€294 million), up 11.7%.
These impressive numbers were driven largely by Monster Hunter Wilds, which since launching last February on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam has sold over 10 million units.
All of Capcom's titles have managed to move at least one million units each year following their release.
The boost from Monster Hunter Wilds also helped Capcom ship a record 51.87 million game units in the fiscal year, a 13% increase over the prior year. In addition to the new release's success, catalog titles—those released in the previous fiscal year or earlier—accounted for 76.14% of total sales.
Capcom defines catalog titles as games released in the previous fiscal year or before, and notes that the Monster Hunter franchise continues to perform strongly in this category. For example, Monster Hunter: World sold an additional 3.1 million copies seven years after its initial launch.
Looking ahead to the next fiscal year, Capcom forecasts a ninth consecutive year of record results, projecting net sales of ¥190,000 million (€1,155 million) and operating income of ¥73,000 million (€444 million), each representing more than 10% year-on-year growth.
To achieve these targets, Capcom is counting on upcoming releases such as Capcom Fighting Collection 2 (May 16), the Onimusha 2 remaster (May 23), Street Fighter 6 and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess for Nintendo Switch 2 (June 5), along with other titles in development and ongoing catalog sales.
