I'm not blaming anyone for thinking ports are a possibility. Capcom has a history of outright lying about this stuff, the gaming industry at large has a history of deception and contractual NDAs etc.
There's no way to shut down these suspicions entirely and I encourage people to be skeptical of statements like this, especially from shady companies with a history of deception like Capcom. I think it's healthier than swallowing whatever they feed you at every point of the marketing cycle (even if this one time it turns out to be the truth, which all signs point to).

I can recall you doing a lot of arguing with people who were unhappy about the deal at the time though. In fact, didn't you start a thread (Back when you could of course

Kind of feel for any Xbone owners but thems the breaks.
I always hoped Titanfall would show up on PS4 as I doubt I'll ever buy a bone but just have to wait for Titanfall 2 now.

I just read the last page and it's alexandros calling people out as fanboys, if he of all people is doing that this thread must be the fuck up of all fuck ups.
Capcom are cheap arses, been like that for a very long time now. Their biggest franchise is Monster Hunter and they still use old assets for those games from PS2 times, SF5 really does sound like one of those games that would not have happened without external funding. RE7 is going to get a full budget and that's about it, even that game is probably getting funded by all those RE remasters the company are obsessed with pulling out. It's very sad how low Capcom have fallen, they were during the early 2000's easily my favourite developer.

He does it in all console-centric threads he graces us with his presence in. It's nothing new.
Oddly enough, it seems to almost be exclusively in 'Sony-Positive' threads.
It better be the best streaming solution of all time to take playing a fighting game on it remotely serious.

I think you can be a fan of something without being glad that something bad is happening to others. "Yay, Game X is coming to my favorite platform, the PS4/XB1/PC" is a sentiment I have zero issues with. We are all gamers, we are all glad to see (hopefully) good games getting made. "Yay, Game X is coming only to my favorite platform, losers who don't own it can suck it, PS4/XB1/PC No1!" is a sentiment I do have issues with because it implies that the person derives some sort of joy from the fact that other people can't play the game. Not that he can play it. That other people can't. I find that sad and I believe that most of us are glad when as many people as possible get the chance to play great games.

How would I be able to judge if posts are joke posts or not? And who is the authority to make a final judgement?
But perhaps any one of these are legit? But let me guess, nobody could ever be happy about it and of course these are all joke posts because someone decided them to be so.

Sony backed the entire project or whatever. It is not going to hit Xbone. When I see Killer Instinct on PS4 maybe there's hope.
I'm okay with it not going on Xbone, the console isn't doing that well and a lot of multiplatform titles tip in the PS4 favor. What is the point of getting the Xbone right now though?

Do we know the license fee is expensive? If MS were to fund such a project, I could see them using MvC4 as bait to get people into the Win10 store. Cross buy/play would also sweeten that deal.

It sucks for console owners, but it seems Capcom wants to mitigate risk for most of their big titles in case sales aren't too hot. I'm assuming Sony ponied up the cash to get SFV started early, though. Capcom was clearly not down to start on that until later. I also have a sneaking suspicion SFV's mechanics came from a binned Darkstalkers sequel.
Marvel vs Capcom 3 didn't sell well enough to really use it like that.
