It was seriously the biggest coincidence of all time, like my eyes were rolling when I heard him say it. Kilgrave just so happened to pick the one cop out of tens of thousands who was in a super soldier program? Yeah ok.

I didn't get the impression he was the only one. That doctor was working out of metro-general off the books, there HAD to be others in the program we didn't see on screen.

Kilgrave was just unlucky enough to pick the dude who happened to be highly unstable.

Tony better call in the Hulk buster right after this.

Yes, but where is Squirrel Girl?

In a marginal webcomic where she belongs.

It's like he's SWF'ing Cap.
it's coming to my attention that that was a scene in JJ, and not one from this movie?

yeah, I'm pretty sure in the comics that his origin story isn't tied to kilgrave. they changed it for the mcu. i don't know if he had a romance with hellcat, either.

Black Panther is probably one of the most anticipated heroes I wanna see in this film. Nice to see him looking so goddamn badass in live action form.

Black Panther looks like a Black Ranger from a Power Ranger pilot from 2005. Costume looks awful, and the running scene makes it seem like crap CGI on his part.

I wish Black Panther didn't have the silver on his mask. Looks terrible in daylight. I didn't even notice it in the concept art.

And I wonder where Zemo fits in all of this.

It's probably gonna be that kind of ending, but I hope not.

I actually think this is one of the MCU movies that it would be totally okay and logical to end on a downer ending with everyone fractured. Think about it.

The movies between Civil War and Infinity War are

Doctor Strange
GOTG 2
Spiderman
Ragnarok
and Black Panther

we don't need any of Civil War Avengers for any of these, so they can be off being pissy and upset and hating each other.

Then come Infinity War, Thanos gets into play.

The movie is gonna end with Steve in hiding. The government props up some douche to be the "new" Captain America and will lead the Avengers who gave up and signed the accords.

Or also locked up, giving himself in instead of Bucky who will still being on the run.

Whoever wins, it'll be a Pyrrhic victory or sure. I just wonder if it'll be "Cap wins, but someone worse than Stark ends up heading the registration initiative" or "Stark wins, but Cap goes down and the soul of the Avengers is irreparably damaged."

It'd be weird to have an MCU movie end on a downer note, though...

Yo, imagine if the post-credit scene has another billionaire genius/businessman given control of the initiative

And it's Norman Osborn

Can Marvel use Osborn and other Spidey villains?

I think so.
As long as Sony are fine with it (and they don't really have a reason not to be).
Plus they were fine with Marvel using an Oscorp building in Avengers prior to the deal. Though there is a big difference between a business and an actual person from the Spider-Man's catalog.
