Hi guys.

I am looking for a good liquid solution that protects car paint from the sun, rain, cat and dog paw marks and other potential harmful shit. The guy at the dealer tried to sell me some shit he said works great but wanted something like $500!!!!!!!!! Fuck that. So what's out there that's good and can I get it at PepBoys?

Oh and how often do you guys recommend washing my car(2001 Mercedez Benz E430....color = white)? Any special rags/soap to use?

Speaking of paint protection, somebody scraped my car in the parking lot at BCC in the parking lot. Didn't leave a note or anything of course...I just got hit and run and when I came back to my car I noticed silver paint on the side.

Are the scratches deep? You could try something like Meguiars Scratch X to remove the silver paint and polish the area.

Don't forget to wax afterwards.
