Its funny reading these threads because we all like the same cartoons so after bout the 7th post its just repeats of everything before.

Another vote for Voltron. I had the complete set of the lions made by Playmates, plus the castle. Too bad I sold it all at a yard sale years ago. :(

I can't believe I forgot my favorite cartoon of all: Eek the cat
I recognise the name and can't put a picture to it.

Also, I can't believe I forgot to mention Rocko's Modern Life. That show rocked.

Stunt Dawgs
The Bots Master (when it's lazer time, PUT ON THE 3D SHADES!)

bots master was another show with a shitty cliffhanger, and was cancelled

The President of the United States's daughter, Ivon Iverson, is kidnapped by the corp. They want to force him into supporting LLP's push for presidency because he can't do it without his vote or something. Anyway as luck would have it Ivon is a look alike of Blitzy. So Blitzy gets her hair cut and they switch her with Ivon. Then LLP himself visits the kidnappers and notice it's Blitzy who takes a picture of him with a camera built into her shoes which is the perfect incriminating evidence. Blitzy gets busted out and everyone's happy.

Meanwhile back at the corp they're all upset that they slipped up and things look bad. But a young scientist named Barnett has created a brain grain in his garage. This chip can be inserted into any 3A to make him thinking like a BOYZZ. So they pop one in a Green Bot and then he comes in with this whole "I can think I can plan" stuff. And the corp is all ready to put these brain grains into massive destruction bots and stuff and really get going with the taking over of the world. LLP makes a nice speach about the setting sun being a great metaphore for what's going on. The end of one day and the dawn of a new one. The end for Ziv Zulander and the dawn of the day of the Corp.

And that's it. That's the end. Big cliffhanger where everything looks bad for the free world and no conclusion.

I was on board this train until I saw the new episodes of Ren and Stimpy on TNN/SpikeTV. You know, the episodes that the creators said that they always meant to make, but Nickelodeon wouldn't let them do.

Know what? They sucked.

My conclusion was that Nickelodeon's leash, no matter how much it pissed John K. off, kept the show from being 22 minutes of fart jokes and innuendo about Ren and Stimpy's sexuality.
I was only slightly disappointed with the new episodes. Some good, some bad. Bad was the really gross episodes where they continue the Fire Dogs thing. The rest was pretty good, especially the flashback to Ren's childhood. That was classic Ren and Stimpy, IMO. But I know that they were way better than anything Nickolodeon produced (without partly finished Spumco material). I'd definitely take more new episodes of Ren and Stimpy.
