If you get good with basic strategy, Blackjack probably has one of the lowest House favors over the player. If you have a sizeable enough cash flow, chasing your losses isn't a bad strategy as long as you have self-restraint to stop yourself.
i dont think they really pay attention if youre counting cards in smaller wager tables... get friendly with the pit boss. dont try to fight your way through a bad dealer... just leave, you dont owe them anything if they are taking you for all you're worth. yea if you have the time to learn craps it can be profitable
oh and slots are ghey... some of my friends have won alot of money from them though, but they dont work for me...

If you feel confident, start easy, by just betting the pass line (the shooter will roll a 7 or 11, when there is no point). I also like Black Jack, but you really need to know how to play the game. If you go to the table and u just hit because you think you will win, you will piss a lot of people off on the table. I know, it happened to me a few times.
Roulette is CRAP. I hate that game.
If you are into cards, I suggest getting into a Texas-Holdem poker game. Its fun and it seems to be the most popular of the poker games.
Slots are fun. I usually stay away from them, because all that beeping and ringing gives me a headache, but if I do play, its always a $.50 Wheel of Fortune slot, or sometimes a $1 slot, but I always play the Wheel of Fortune slot.

Blackjack is your best bet to actually make money or at least just play a long time with what you brought. And thats really what matters if you ask me. Just play smartly and play double deck instead of shoes if possible. Craps works too for getting good odds.

Craps is a big winner, but can cost you as well. You can bet the bare minimum, but if you don't know what you're doing, you're going to be out of money. Go to the tables and try to find out when the lessons will be taking place. You'll learn the basics. From there, it's all about watching people...

Its the same thing on both sides of the table. so dont worry. Next, look to see if the POINT PUCK is on a number or if it is set to the OFF side and is over by the "dont come" box. If it is by that "Dont Come" box then the table has no point, and u can play the pass line. If for instance, the puck is ON, as it is in the picture, then u can only really play the numbers, and that gets confusing. So lets just say u get to the table teh puck is OFF. you want to take the table minimum and place it on the pass line, which you see in the picture above. If the new shooter rolls a 7 or 11 you will win your pass line bet back (even money). If he shoots, lets say an 8, which is in the picture above, you will then take another $10 and place it behind your passline bet. If the shooter hits that 8, you will win the even money on the pass line and whatever the odds are on the 8. If he rolls a 4, 5, 6, 9, or 10, nothing happens unless you bet those numbers, but thats for medium to advanced players. If he shoots a 2, 3, or 12, thats craps, but it doesnt affect you. The only way to LOSE once the point has been established (which is the 8) is to shoot a 7. If that happens, all the money gets cleared off the table and new shooter begins. EDIT: I forgot to mention if the shooter rolls a 4, 6, 8, or 10 as the point, and you want to try to win some nice cash, bet $5 on the hard way. What that means is that when the shooter hits the point, it will be like this 4(2x2), 6(3x3), 8(4x4) and 10(5x5). Those are hard ways. The numbers in the parenthesis are the sides of the Die. I am sure you get it, but if I was you and its your first time playing craps, just play the pass line and the point, and remember only bet the min. amount, you dont want to go blowing your wad in a matter of 15mins.

Craps isn't the game with the best "odds", despite the fact that a lot of people seem to say it. It's not blackjack either, even if it comes close. Baccarat with a bet on the player is the best, but requires a much higher minimum in most casinos. It's expectation per dollar is exactly 1.0.

The previous three cards in any combination would have busted the dealer. These morons mined them all.
There was more stupidity -- but that pissed me off -- I was sure it was a hand I'd win... and I should have.

Blackjack is so rollercoaster for me. Sometimes I'll be doing extremely well, then nothing but crap. Personally, I like to mess around at craps better, and I've had great days playing craps. Anytime I am really down, I go there to try to break even. 
I have a tip if you play slots (as I do, I'm not good enough at card games)... ALWAYS bet the max. I hit the jackpot on a knickel machine (hey, I was losing money hand over fist on the other slots) and won $300 instead of $1500 because I didn't bet the max... I learned my lesson fast.
Oh and I've exclusively played slots since I started gambling when I turned 21 and so far, I've only lost money once... every other time I've come out ahead... That's like 5 or 6 times though, I don't get to go as often as I'd like because of my job

Here's a great question that I have about craps, roulette, etc. games that I wouldn't even begin to know how to research...
All of these games have alot of people at one table. How do you tell whose bets are whose? Or do you just have to remain alert and hope noone steals your winnings?

Roulette, if you are playing the inside, which is all the numbers from 0-35, every person gets there own color chip so that the dealer can associate who is who. If you are playing the outside, which is EVEN/ODD or RED/BLACK, then you can use any chip you have, because u are betting the outside.
Those are the only 2 games that will have a lot of people playing at one time.
